Kharghar, August 29, 2022: The school organised an Inter-House Heritage quiz competition for the students of Classes III, IV and V in the Multi-purpose Hall on 29 August 2022. The four different houses participated in all five rounds.

The aim of the quiz was to test the learners’ knowledge about the heritage of our country. The students’ awareness about dance, music, art, languages, festivals, monuments and food of our nation.

Topaz House and Ruby house bagged the first and the second position respectively. It was a unique way of making the children learn about our heritage in a different way and not just through books and classroom teaching.

Interact Club of Apeejay School Kharghar, in collaboration with Rotary Club New Bombay seaside, organised a blood donation camp on 23rd April 2022 in the premises of Apeejay School Kharghar. The medical staff of Tata memorial hospital Kharghar collected the blood. Many donors came forward to donate blood for this noble cause. The camp was a huge success with parents, teachers and non-teaching staff voluntarily coming out to donate blood.

Class V celebrated its Graduation Day on 25th March, 2022. The ceremony started with prayer, followed by Class Teacher’s speech on the zoom platform. The students showcased their performances through various extracurricular activities like dance, skit, singing songs, delivering speech, staging magic show and playing instruments. The ceremony ended with an inspirational video of Shri Abdul Kalam. Vote of thanks with best wishes were rendered by the Class teachers.

Experiential learning was conducted where children learnt while doing activities.

Arts integration is an approach to teaching that integrates the Fine and Performing Arts as primary pathways to learning. To achieve this, many art integrated projects were done in all the subjects.

In the month of November 2020, all the students performed dance, singing songs and giving speeches on the theme ‘Festivals’.
