Vanmahotsav was celebrated in Apeejay School, Kharghar by the Primary Department. A special assembly was organised by the students of classes I and II. The importance of plants in our lives was expressed by the students through a melodious song and a beautiful dance.

Children promised to do their bit to save the trees by stop wasting paper & pencils and pledged to 'Plant trees, Plant love' to save the environment.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most important festivals of Maharashtra. Keeping it in mind, the Primary Section of Apeejay School, Kharghar conducted a special assembly to celebrate this festival. The students of Class IV B welcomed ‘Bappa’ with a melodious song.

Students also presented a dance showing the joy and festivity surrounding this occasion. Last but not the least, students enacted a skit showcasing a small part of the life of ‘Bappa’ and his devotion for his mother.

Janmashtami was celebrated by the Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Kharghar with lots of fervour and enthusiasm. Students enacted the life of young Krishna as makhan chor. They connected dahi handi with this event of Krishna's life.

The stage was set alive with little Radhas and little Krishnas looking resplendent in their beautiful outfits. The entire area was decorated beautifully. An energetic dance performance followed by the dahi handi event was the highlight of the show. The entire school reverberated with the sounds of drums and festive music, infusing everyone's hearts with the spirit of Janmashtami in its truest sense.

The young students had an amazing time wherein they were seen dancing and enjoying along with the performers. Overall, it was an entertaining and educating program which informed the students about the cultural and spiritual significance of this festival.

Kharghar, August 14, 2019: The Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Kharghar witnessed a beautiful programme on the eve of Independence Day in the School premises. The programme was indeed a spectacular one comprising students’ mind blowing performances.

The students of Grade V presented a cultural extravaganza wherein they showcased their latent talent. The Primary Wing celebrated the day to commemorate the nation's independence with an august gathering comprising the School Principal and all teachers.
