Kharghar, June 21, 2019: Students of the Pre-Primary Wing observed International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019. It was an ice-breaker as the academic session had just begun. Students were excited for Yoga Day as they donned comfortable legging for the session.

Physical Education Instructor, Kazim Sir, guided students for various Yoga asanas. Teachers elaborated the essence of Yoga in everyday life for wellness.

After warm up exercises, teachers guided students on various Yoga poses.

Students enjoyed poses like simhasana (lion pose), tree pose, padmasana (lotuspose), janu sirsasana (head to knee pose), Dekasana (airoplane pose), kite pose (falling star), warrior pose, tree pose and yogic breath.

The session was conducted to enhance their attention span and concentration.

The Workshop concluded with a peaceful yogic prayer. Students enjoyed practicing asanas. The session encouraged students to work together and learn with each other in a group.
