Kharghar, November 2019: Students of Apeejay School, Kharghar, won the Under-14 Girls’ School State Handball Championship, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services Government of Maharashtra, Pune, at Atma Malik English School, Moholi-Aatgaon (in Thane district). The players who did the School proud were – Arshiya Shah, Afrah Khatif, Vamika Soni, Richa Handa, Samiriddhi Kumar, Janice Andrea, Prasanna More, Chaarvi Rathure, Barkha Kumar, Aniv Singh, Janvi Jadhav and Neha Gaikwad. From the team, four players (Vamika Soni, Neha Gaikwad, Arahiya Shah and Afrah Khatif) were selected for playing at the State level, representing Maharashtra. The spirit of all the players played an important role in paving the way to success for the Apeejay team under the sincere guidance of the coach, Pradnyanand Kamble, and the constant support of the School Principal, Mrs Tejaswini Katdare.

Handball Championship
  • Atibhu Arya (Class VI) and Rudransh Singh (Class VI) got selected (out of 12 students of Maharashtra) in the National Level FUTSAL Tournament, organised by FUTSAL Federation of India.
  • U/12 Boys – Winner in NMSA Football Tournament, held at Father Agnel School.
  • U/10 Boys Runner’s Up in Viva Vibgyor Football Tournament Siddharth Padhi III adjudged as ‘Best Player’ of the tournament
World International Handball Tournament

Apeejay School, Kharghar, represented India, participated in the in U/12 Girls, U/11 Girls & U/12 Boys category in the World International Handball Tournament: Bergen Cup – Norway – U/12 Girls – Winner Partille Cup – Sweden – 5th position Dronninglund Cup – Denmark – U/10 Girls - Winner U/12 Girls - Winner U/12 Boys - Winner
