Kharghar, Oct 13, 2020: Philately is the study of stamps & postal history and other related items. It also refers to the collection, appreciation and research activities on stamps and other philatelic products.

A Philately Quiz was conducted by the Department of Posts (DoP) which has been the backbone of the country’s communication and has played a crucial role in the country’s socio-economic development.

Rashi Gupta of Class IX A bagged first prize by securing 19 out of 20 marks and Arkava Biswas secured the 4th prize by securing 15 out of 20 marks.

Kharghar, Sep 5, 2020: 9 students participated in the AISE-MUN organised by Apeejay School, Faridabad, Haryana, on the virtual platform Zoom. Sammrudhi Bhutia (Class IX C) won a Special Mention Award / WHO and Vibha Kurup (Class X B) won the UNHRC Honorary Mention for the delegate of Somalia.

The MUN comprised a process of research, position paper including information, problems faced and solutions to the same, informative speech delivery by each delegate with regards to the agenda - reforming WHO, AIPPM, UNGA, etc. Suggestions and steps towards betterment of different countries during pandemic were discussed. Later, all delegates together came up with the press release including solutions to problems discussed in the one-day Committee with regards to the agenda. The results were announced through a live session on YouTube. It was a great experience filled with learning for the participants of Apeejay School, Kharghar.

Kharghar, August 25, 2020: Trinabh Mandal (Class VIII) won the 3rd prize and A. Jason Broderick (Class VI) won the Consolation Prize in the Wildlife Quiz Competition held by Valedra.
