Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg bagged the prestigious ‘British Council International School Award for 2017-20’ for seamlessly integrating international curriculum in its activities. The grand Prize Giving Ceremony, attended by more than 350 dignitaries, was organised at British Council, New Delhi, on 13th Dec 2017, and was presided over by Sir Ciaran Devane, Chief Executive, British Council.

Mr Girish Kumar, Principal, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, and Mrs Namrata Sharma, ISA Coordinator, received the Prize on behalf of the School. Mr Kumar told the media that it was a milestone achievement in the Golden Jubilee Year of the School. To be eligible for the Award, the School had conducted year-long diverse activities that aimed at instilling a sense of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and internationalism among its students. These activities sensitised the students towards the crucial social and national & international issues. Many of these activities were conducted in collaboration with international students.

Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, congratulated the School on this stupendous feat. Mr Girish Kumar said that Apeejay will continue to strive for the holistic development of its students so that the students grow up to be responsible citizens and contribute to the progress of the society and the country at large.
