Time Table
The full day is divided into nine periods, the classes start with a Zero period wherein attendance of the students is taken. After the zero period, eight periods are scheduled for different subjects according to the time-table set at the beginning of the session.
Teaching Learning Strategies
Teacher strategies play a pivotal role in teaching-learning process. Various methods are adopted in this process, for example, Demonstrations, Group Discussions, Questionnaires, Pair Work, Role-Play Activities, organising Debates, Declamation, Paper Reading are adopted to promote deeper learning.
Focused Skills
Skill of relating the classroom teaching to day-to-day life is used. Thus, enabling the students for in-depth comprehension.
Value Based Education
Value Education is the part of education imparted in the school to make students emotionally strong and socially compatible, which helps in character building and moral development. Value Education is the part of classroom teaching, which helps in developing the lesson. The various Value-Based programmes are:
- Quizzing on lives of great men
- Narrating Value-based stories
- Parable-based performances
- Celebration of various festivals in the Morning Assembly.
- Street Plays
Evaluation and Assessment
There are two Terminal Examinations and two Periodic Assessments for Classes VI-VIII and three Periodic Assessments and an Annual Examination for Classes IX and X. Revision tests of one-hour duration are also scheduled prior to the examinations. All the records are maintained in the Teacher's Diary and Mark Reading Registers. Yearly records of all examinations are maintained.
