Jalandhar, December 16, 2014: The Annual Day function titled, ‘Parindey’ was celebrated in the school with great enthusiasm and zeal. Mr. Aditya Vijay Berlia, Pro-Chancellor of the Apeejay Stya University was the Chief Guest for the occasion.

The function started with an invocation to Lord Ganesha. The students enthralled the audience with a Sufi Song, a Hindi Play titled ‘Parindey’ and an English Play titled ‘Christmas-The Real Essence’. Ms. Meera Javed, School Principal read out the Annual Report, highlighting the exemplary achievements of the students at the State, National and International level. The meritorious students were awarded by the Chief Guest, Mr. Aditya Berlia. The function concluded with foot tapping Bhangra dance & singing of the National Anthem.

Jalandhar, October 4, 2014: The 95th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Stya Paul, Founder President, Apeejay Education Society, was celebrated with full devotion in the School. The celebration started with a floral tribute to the divine soul by the School Principal, Ms. Meera Javed. It was followed by a cultural program which included bhajan, a motivational skit, ‘Akaash Ki Aur’ and a western song.

On this occasion, Academic Coordinator, Mr. V.K. Khanna addressed the students and talked about the inspirational biography of Dr. Stya Paul. Ms. Meera Javed also read out the message by Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Education Society.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among students.



Jalandhar, May 30, 2014: ‘No Tobacco Day’ was organised in the School wherein Dr. R.L. Bassan, Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar was the key speaker of the day. Dr. Bathla, Chest Specialist, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar also spoke of the evils and hazards of smoking. Both the doctors urged the parents and students to say ‘No’ to smoking and to make people aware of the ailments associated with smoking and consuming tobacco. They requested all to say no to drugs for a healthy body and a healthy mind.

INVESTITURE-CEREMONYThe school celebrated the Investiture Ceremony of the newly formed Prefectorial Board of the school under the stewardship of the School principal, Mrs. Madhu Sharma.

Dr. R.L. Bassan, Civil Surgeon, Jalandhar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the day. Dr. Naresh Bathla, Chest Specialist, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar was also present on the occasion.

School principal, Mrs. Sharma, formally welcomed the guests and the parents to the occasion. She apprised the audience with the various achievements of the school.

Dr. Bassan and the principal adorned the student Council with badges, followed by an Oath Taking Ceremony administered by the principal.

The Head Boy, Head Girl and the Senior House Captains of all the Four Houses – Beas, Saraswati, Satluj and Yamuna gave speeches thanking their principal and teachers for their continuous support and cooperation and having faith in them.

Dr. Bassan, in his speech, congratulated the students on their new achievement and urged them to continue working hard for a bright future.
