School Dental Checkup Camp named 'School Health and Awareness Programme' was conducted from 26 - 29 November 2019, at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg. The students of classes VI to XI were examined for dental problems and maintenance of oral hygiene.

A team of doctors headed by Dr Rajeev Khurana from the Lung Care Foundation, New Delhi, held a seminar cum workshop for the students of classes VI to VIII.

The aim of the team was to sensitise the students about the hazards of air-pollution and its threatening effects, especially in big cities.

Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, conducted a master class for educators in collaboration with Robogenius Learning Solutions Limited. The Class was attended by the teachers from various schools of Jalandhar. The interactive session made the participants aware of the recent work in the field of Artificial Intelligence and how it will affect our future.

The subject of Artificial Intelligence has also been introduced as a skill-based subject for grades VIII & IX and as an Elective subject for grades XI & XII.

To commemorate the Birth Centenary of Dr Stya Paul Ji, the inspiration and driving force behind the Apeejay Education Society, a Blood Donation Camp was organised by Dr Gagandeep Singh, Officer In-Charge of Blood Bank, Civil Hospital, Jalandhar.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr Sandeep Goyal from NHS Hospital. With the joint efforts of the parents, teachers and Apeejay alumni & students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, 53 units of blood were collected.

The School Principal, Mr Girish Kumar, appreciated the gesture and termed this act to be one of the greatest services to mankind.
