International Cultural Exchange Programme 2020
Taking forward the initiative for conducting international cultural exchange programmes, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, recently welcomed a delegation of 11 students along with their Principal and a teacher from Daejeon High School, South Korea.
A special morning assembly was conducted to welcome them which included a plethora of events like Bhangra, Christmas carols, and a special performance by the tiny tots. The guest team also exhibited their talent by playing their traditional Flute and Rap performance. The assembly concluded with the exchange of gifts.
The South Korean delegation attended Yoga, Electronic, Theatre, and Sculpting classes in the School. They were mesmerised by the Indian sculpture & art and also shared how Yoga has influenced their country and has become a part & parcel of their daily life.
The delegation also graced the Appreciation Day of the School as special guests which allowed them to have an insight into the Indian culture.
The guests also had the privilege to visit the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Wagah Border at Amritsar. The divinity of the Golden Temple left them spellbound.

Student Exchange Programme - Visit to South Korea (2019)
Korea, November 6, 2019: A group of five students from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, along with School Principal, Mr Girish Kumar, visited Daejeon High School, Daejeon, South Korea, for an Educational and Cultural Exchange Programme, from 31 October 2019 to 6 November 2019.
The students got a chance to attend English and Physical Education classes in the school. They visited National Science Museum, Korea, Advanced Institute of Science and Jeonju Hanji Museum. They relished Korean food, witnessed a Korean Musical Drama and undertook a trek to Jaunbong Peak of Dobong Mountain which turned out to be a unique adventure. They also got a chance to visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between North & South Korea).
