Educational Excursion to Zoo
Greater Noida, Nov 22, 2022: To enhance students' knowledge of surroundings, promote awareness and expose them to the world of amazing animals & birds, an Educational Excursion to Zoo was organised by Apeejay International School, Greater Noida for the students of Classes Nursery to Class lll on 22 November 2022. The educational excursion was based on the thematic curriculum “The Living World”. They saw a variety of animals such as the Asiatic Lion, White Tiger, Elephant, Sloth Bear, Crocodile, White Peacock and Leopard along with their habitats.
A Visit To Camp Dev Farms
Greater Noida, Nov 16, 2022: To expose our children to the raw, ethnic village setup, the School organised a fun day out with 87 students of Classes IV to VIII on 16 November 2022 to Deva Farm Camp in New Delhi. This delightful trip in the lap of nature enriched the lives of the students.
DEVA [Delhi ECO Village and Adventure offered a series of village, sports and recreational activities wherein the students thoroughly enjoyed different adventure activities like Burma Bridge, Zip Wire, River Crossing, Commando Net, Rope Ladder, Tunnel Crossing, Balance Beam etc.
After a filling meal, students got a taste of domestic and creative village activities including Pottery Wheel, Camel Rides and Tractor Rides. In addition, our young audience was thrilled and energised all day long by the live DJ session. Overall, it was an outing that made the students confident, courageous and helped them to overcome their fear.
Investiture Ceremony 2022-23
Greater Noida, Oct 18, 2022:The Investiture Ceremony of Apeejay International School for the academic session 2022- 2023 was held on 18 October 2022 to signify the leadership and responsibility taken up by the Newly appointed council members with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony at the school ground.
The event was presided over by the Chief Guest Mr. Hari Om Gandhi, Senior Commandant CISF, Greater Noida, and by one of the governing bodies of the school, Shri Dinesh Rai who is a retired IAS officer, UP cadre, batch of 1974. The event was conducted with a high degree of earnestness and passion.
The programme started with the auspicious lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana as a tribute to Lord Ganesha, to seek blessings for these new beginnings. The council, smartly marched up to the centre stage, holding the school and the respective houses’ flags.
The ceremony was taken ahead by Ms Maninder Kaur, the Senior Coordinator to acquaint us with the names of the position holders for the new Council. They were conferred with badges and sashes. The students’ council took the pledge to hold the school motto of “Soaring High is My Nature” in high esteem.
It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested as they embarked on a new journey as leaders. This process ended with inspiring speeches by the newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl. The Principal Dr Sarita Pande congratulated them and advised them to be role models for the Apeejayites and extended a supporting hand to the students’ council for the smooth running of the school.
