Greater Noida, March 23, 2022: An orientation programme was organised for parents of newly admitted students. The aim was to familiarise the parents, "as the partners in progress" with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.
The school principal, Dr Sarita Pande, addressed the gathering and laid stress on effective communication between the teachers and the parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the children could be provided the best for their overall development.
The parents were briefed about the rules and regulations of the school. Co-ordinators gave an overview of the curriculum and the co-scholastic activities which give them an assurance that the curriculum involves self-directed, hands-on learning activities which help in the overall development of the child.
The programme was graced by Mrs Anita Paul, Education Officer Apeejay Education, who shared the vision and mission of Apeejay Education and gave valuable tips on parenting.
A session was conducted by Anuna Bardoli, Clinical Psychologist from Fortis Healthcare, who guided the parents about various principles involved in parenting.
