Apeejay International School, Greater Noida is a full-fledged Senior Secondary School with classes from Nursery to Class XII. The medium of instruction is English but Hindi and Sanskrit are given due importance. The teaching methodology in the school involves an activity based, hands-on approach in order to provide a firm foundation for future learning. The conventional chalk and talk technique is passé and has been replaced by a child-centric approach with experiential learning and computer-aided packages being an integral part of the curriculum. An interactive approach is adopted where the teacher is a facilitator and a mediator who leads the students to grow up into smart self-learners where questions are posed but instead of providing them with ready-made answers, the teacher enables them to discover answers for themselves. Teaching, thus, is meaningful and learning is permanent as it is reinforced by project work, workshops, films, Internet and field trips.

Assessment And Examination System

The School conducts Weekly Recaps for classes II to V, apart from assessing their homework, class work, oral and written assignments. However, there are no formal examinations till Class V.

Classes VI to X follow the CCE pattern as envisioned by the CBSE that comprises two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment in each term.
