Greater Noida, Nov 2021: As an initiative to promote the constitutional values among citizens, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 19th November 2015 notified the decision of the Government of India to celebrate the 26th day of November every year as 'Constitution Day' to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

This day was observed and celebrated by our students with great zeal. A special assembly was organised in the school to observe the 72nd Constitution Day which helped the students to be aware and proud of the process through which a magnanimous constitution of the largest democracy was made and implemented.

Greater Noida, Dec 1, 2021: It is of utmost importance to be aware of the Cyber Safety guidelines and the possible risks if the rules are not followed. To impart this effectively to the students, a special assembly on 'Cyber Safety' was conducted on 1st Dec 2021, through an online platform. The students were made aware of Digital Citizenship and two crucial elements, i.e. Digital Communication and Digital Etiquette, were discussed in detail.

The desired outcome was to enhance awareness in students about Cyber Safety and this was attained by giving them related examples, videos, risks, and guidelines. The students also got a chance to get words of wisdom from one of the industry experts who is also a proud parent of Apeejay. Post the awareness session, the entire audience took the pledge for being smart and safe online. The School Principal addressed the students and explained to them the importance of safety rules to be followed while attending online classes or using the internet. It was quite an interactive and informative session.

Greater Noida, Nov 23, 2021: A special assembly was conducted on the topic ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ on the 23rd of November 2021 in Class IX to XII. The objective of the assembly was to make the students aware of cyber-crimes and how they can escape from such kinds of situations.

The objective was attained by making the students understand the various steps through which they can protect themselves online.

Greater Noida, Nov 18, 2021: Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the first of the ten Sikh gurus and the founder of Sikhism. His birth anniversary is celebrated as ‘Gurpurab’ across the globe. Guru Nanak travelled widely to spread the message of oneness and compassion.

On this auspicious occasion, a Special Assembly was conducted by the students virtually on the Zoom platform on 18th November 2021 to pay homage to the sacred soul. Assembly commenced with a prayer and thought. Students expressed their views about his life, recited Shabad, and presented a brief account of his teachings.

Greater Noida, Nov 9, 2021: Morning assembly undoubtedly holds the numero uno position out of all the routine activities in a school. It aids community participation as well as hones the skills of children on account of healthy competitive spirit between different groups.

Keeping up with the same and to make the students aware of traffic rules the students of classes IV-IX & XI conducted their special VIRTUAL morning assembly on 6th December 2021, on the topic ‘Road Safety’.

'Seek safety, Aim safety, Follow safety, Ensure safety, Teach safety, Yield safety' is what safety entails. Road safety is an issue of prime concern to all. Road catastrophes can happen to anyone, whether they are pedestrians, rickshaw drivers, or automobile drivers.

To make the students aware of traffic rules, the special virtual assembly was conducted by Aanya Garg (Class XI), followed by a talk given by Ayushi (Class XI), a presentation on the golden laws of traffic regulations was presented by Manan Tyagi (Class XI) followed by awareness videos on traffic rules. Vedant Deopa (Class XI ) read a vow of safety. The message - SAFETY COMES FIRST - was well communicated by the children during the assembly.

Students were sensitised on the issue to make them responsible road users. The purpose of the assembly was to instill a sense of respect for one's own and others' lives, as well as the awareness that each life matters, inspiring students to act responsibly on the road and making Indian roads the safest in the world.

Greater Noida, Nov 9, 2021: The National Legal Services Day is celebrated on 9th November every year to spread the awareness for ensuring reasonably fair and justice procedure for all the citizens.The Day was observed in the school to create awareness among students about this noble initiative of the Government of India to help the poor so that they get an equal representation in legal matters.

The students were reinforced with the idea of equality and its significance in a society for the overall development of the individual in particular and the entire nation in general. They were made aware of the legal rights of all so that they could reach out to the needy sections of the society and educate them about the measures taken by the Government for their representation and well-being.
