Global School Programme: Face to Faith
Jalandhar, 2015-16: The School is actively involved in ‘Face to Faith’ - a Global School Programme under the aegis of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, London. This year, students – Meghna, Harjot Kaur, Prabhleen, Jasleen, Khushi, Harmandeep Kaur Rai, Simran, Ekjot Kaur and Sukhmandeep Kaur Rai participated in the Team Blogging Project in which they exchanged views with the schools of USA, Mexico, Syria and Canada about the impact of Hate Speech & the Importance of Freedom of Speech in today’s world. It helped students embrace an open-minded approach towards others, towards diversity and towards differences.
Third Prize in Space Settlement Design
Jalandhar, 2015-16: Apeejay School, Rama Mandi bagged the third prize at the International Space Settlement Design Competition organised by the National Space Society in collaboration with NASA for designing the Space Colony named KUMO-LIPO. The School team has been religiously participating in the Competition since four years and has received honourable mention for various previous projects as well. The students have been visiting USA to attend a conference every year under the aegis of NASA.
