Faridabad, Feb. 23, 2019: The Primary Wing of the School celebrated the Annual Appreciation Day – ‘Anugoonj’ - Resonance of Inner Voice on 23rd February 2019. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Padma Shri Vidushi Sumitra Guha, renowned Vocalist, Hindustani Classical Music, while Mr Arjun Lal, IRS, Joint Commissioner, Vigilance, Directorate General of Vigilance CBIC, Government of India and Mr Vijay Yadav, Former Test Cricketer, Indian Cricket Team were the Guests of Honour. School Principal, Mr SK Mishra, formally welcomed the guests and the Headmistress, Mrs Manisha Gulati, showcased the year’s activities and achievements through the Annual Report.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and an invocation dance was presented to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The play ‘Snow White - The tale retold’ emphasised the profound message of looking inwards to find positivity and beauty within ourselves. Majority of the students showcased their talents through various items like orchestra, dances & theatre and were awarded with various prizes for their achievements. The theatre enactment of ‘Little Women’ - was a special tribute to the country’s soldiers and sensitised the audience towards the sacrifices of the guardians of our country. The English choir ‘Heal the World’ was a heartfelt prayer to the world to embrace peace. The foot tapping dances presented by the students enthralled the audience with their vibrant and zealous performances to awaken the jazba of ‘Anugoonj’ and heed the resonance of the inner voice. The annual report was presented by the Headmistress and highlighted the achievements of our students.

The invited dignitaries, in their address appreciated the performances of the students and the efforts of the School for creating opportunities towards the holistic development of the student.

The grand finale was an exclusive presentation, infusing each one to follow the righteous path whispered as an inner voice, which will divinize and immortalize everyone. Two minutes silence was also observed to pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama. The parents and guests appreciated the programme and the mass participation of students to make the event a grand success.

Faridabad, Dec. 21, 2018: Apeejay School, Faridabad, celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Jeevanotsav’ – ‘Celebrating Colours of Life’ on December 21, 2018. Gracing the occasion with their esteemed presence were the Honourable Chief Guest, Dr Manoj Kumar Dahiya, IRS, Additional Director, National Academy of Customs, Excise & Narcotics, Guest of Honour, Mr Kim Kum Pyoung, Director, Korean Cultural Centre, and special invitees Dr V.S. Garg, Educational Advisor and Mr N.N. Nayyar, Sr. Education Officer from Apeejay Education Society.

The evening commenced with invocation to Lord Shiva, the deity of dance for inspiration, serenity and guidance

School Principal, Mr S.K. Mishra, welcomed the guests and presented the Annual Report of the School. The achievements of the School in the domains of Academia, Co-Curricular and Sports at the international and national levels were presented by the students. Prestigious medals, scholarships and trophies were awarded to the achievers of the School by Dr Manoj Kumar Dahiya, Dr V.S. Garg and Mr N.N. Nayyar in the Prize Distribution Ceremony.

A glittering bonanza of musical performances, dances and songs portraying different shades & hues of life mesmerised the audience. The students’ presentation of the famous Court Scene from Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’ captured the essence of the play, sensitising the audience with the whole lot of gamut of emotions, i.e. empathy, compassion, fair play and justice.

Dr Manoj Kumar Dahiya appreciated the efforts of the School in putting up such a spectacular show. He urged the students to keep their eyes on goals while walking on the road called ‘Life’. In his inspiring message, he exhorted the students to aspire higher, be passionate about their dreams and respect their time as the future of the nation rests on their shoulders. Pointing to technological invasion in modern lifestyle, he also advised the students not to be slaves of technology and make a judicious use of it in their lives.

Faridabad, Sep. 2018: Apeejay School, Faridabad alumna Tanvi Agarwal, along with her husband, recently visited her alma mater. Tanvi was 'All India Topper (Rank - 1) of Class XII in the year 2009. She was the 'Head Girl' of the School and also the 'Vice President' of the Interact Club. She completed her Graduation from SRCC, followed by MBA from IIM, Bangalore. She is presently working with McKinsey & Company, Bangalore.

The School Principal complimented her for outstanding achievements & for bringing laurels to the School.
