Faridabad, Dec. 8, 2016: The module ‘Developing Shraddha’ of the Awakened Citizen Programme sponsored by Ramakrishna Mission was held in the School for students of Class VIII. Two resource persons, Ms. Indrani Roy and Nandini Sheshadri from Ramakrishna Mission were present for the session. The module was presented by Ms. Suman Sharma and Ms. Kavita Ahuja. It was an interactive session wherein the students participated in the discussion enthusiastically. They shared their experiences and the importance of practicing values in life.

‘Google Web Rangers – Cyber Safety’

Faridabad, Dec. 7, 2016: Learning Links Foundation, in collaboration with Google, had organised a workshop titled ‘Web Rangers’ focusing on Cyber Safety. Ten schools of Faridabad participated in this Workshop.

The Web Rangers Workshop aims to promote safe use of the internet among youngsters by empowering teenagers (aged 13-17) to become young advocates of safe use of the internet and campaign for the same in their schools & community.

Students took part in informative and fun sessions on topics like managing their digital footprint, being safe on the web and identifying tricks and scams online.

The whole session was very interactive with many quizzes and games to ensure that youngsters involved had a lot of fun while learning.

Faridabad, Nov. 18, 2016: An Academic Excellence programme was held in the school to honour students who have shown outstanding performance in academics. 450 students were awarded badges and prizes. 16 students received the most coveted, 'Excelsior Tie' for consistently showing highly commendable results for six consecutive years. Mr. Atul Trikhs, Vice President, JCB was the Chief Guest on the occassion.
