New Delhi, Nov 12, 2022: One of the most awaited cultural and creative extravaganzas “Meraki-2022” was held on 12 November 2022 at Apeejay School, Faridabad. The celebration embarked with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invocation by the senior students followed by a welcome address by the School Principal, Mrs. Anita Yadav honouring the Chief Guest Shri Narendra Gupta ji, MLA, Faridabad and Executive Director at Prayas Social Welfare Society and Guest of Honour, Inspector Neha Rathi, In-charge of Women Police Station, an International Wrestler and recipient of the prestigious Arjuna Award.

Shri Narendra Gupta ji, in his address, thanked Dr Stya Paul Ji, Inspiration Behind All Apeejay Education Institutions, for establishing such an esteemed institution. He also emphasised the importance of carnival in students’ holistic development as it makes them confident and instils a feeling of entrepreneurship in them. In her address, Inspector Neha Rathi, emphasised the importance of the inclusion of physical activities in students’ lives through the activities like these.

The release of colourful balloons by our Chief Guest along with our Guest of Honour and other dignitaries marked the inauguration of the Carnival.

The Carnival encapsulated a myriad of activities and performances such as Music, Dance, Games, Costumes and Pageantry. 29 stalls of numerous interesting games and delicious snacks were installed to satiate the appetite of the crowd.

An array of edible delights and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time with near and dear ones. Various other events such as Baby Show, My Fantasy Character, Obstacle Path, Drawing and Painting Corner etc. were organised in which the children and their parents participated enthusiastically.

Several schools participated in the Inter-School Folk Dance Competition and the Folk Fusion Band. People were caught up in the euphoria of the moment at the announcement of the Lucky Draw. Great enthusiasm and exuberance were shown by the Principal, Staff and Students of our school.

With a footfall of more than three thousand visitors, the carnival was a huge success and the day culminated with the Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education and whole team of Apeejay, Students and Parents for the grand success of the event.

New Delhi, Dec 24, 2020: The budding artist and the pride of Apeejay School, Faridabad - Aan Parashar has been awarded the prestigious ‘Atal Samman’. The aspiring artist was felicitated by Shri Manoj Tiwari, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Shyam Jaju, Former Vice-President and Senior Leader of BJP, and Bhajan Samrat, Kumar Vishu at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 24th December 2020.

The event is an international level ceremony organised under the aegis of the Government of India every year and it aims to recognise national talent from various spheres

CBSE National Taekwondo Championship
