Faridabad, October 1, 2019: The Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Faridabad, held its Investiture Ceremony on 1st October 2019. The Programme commenced with the lighting of lamp and an invocation dance. The School Principal, Dr Parul Tyagi, adorned the newly elected Council members with badges. The Headmistress, Mrs Ritu Kanwar, administered the oath and urged the students to uphold moral and human values to reach the acme of success

The dance was followed by a very inspiring speech by the School Principal. In her address, she reiterated the importance of helping the children, develop a personality that is competitive and progressive with inner moral oxygen not only to do things right, but to do the right things.

The stage was lit up with vibrant colours of different flags and the event reiterated the faith in the caliber and leadership of the future generation. The Head Girl accorded a Vote of Thanks to the revered guests. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. It was a prestigious occasion brimming with pride and glory.

Faridabad, Aug. 6, 2018: The Installation Ceremony of the new team of office bearers of the Interact Club was held at Apeejay School, Faridabad. Rtn. Dr Neha Berlia, Member, Management Board, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chair, Interact /Rotaract Committee welcomed the Chief Guest, Rtn. R.V. Kanoria, President, Rotary Club Delhi Mid Town 2018-19.

They lent grace to the occasion with their presence along with other eminent guests, Rtn. Alok Shriram, Hon. Secretary, Rtn. Anshul Singhal, Director, Interact /Rotaract, Rtn. Sudhanshu Pachisia, Director, Rtn. Suresh Gupta, President-Elect and Former Distt. Governor, Rtn. K.K. Gupta and Mr N.N. Nayyar, Senior Education Officer from Apeejay Education.

A formal welcome was extended to the guests by School Principal, Mr. S.K. Mishra. In his speech, he highlighted the need to create avenues to provide horizontal exposure and vertical expertise leading to the development of 'multiple intelligences'.

Rtn. Dr. Neha Berlia, in her address, congratulated the School for its continuous efforts every year only to make each year better than the year before. Sharing with students that human values have always been the cornerstone of Apeejay Education, she urged the students to uphold the same. She reaffirmed the fact that Rotary is not only service but also a platform for forging bonds of friendship. She further advised the Interactors to put in hard work and nurture friendships as they come together to work.

While Mitali Ojha, the outgoing President, Interact Club, made a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the various projects undertaken by the Interactors during her tenure. Bhavishya Khatri, the incoming President, outlined the various programmes his team would be working upon, during the session 2018-19.

The profundity of the thought, ‘Youth is the reason of hope, enterprise and energy to the nation as well as an individual’ was reinforced by the School Choir in the group song that celebrated the immense potential in the youth of today.

The group dance was a tribute to the very essence of womanhood highlighting the significant position women occupy in society and how the world today needs women for they nurture the world.

Rtn. R.V. Kanoria, President, Rotary Club Delhi Mid Town congratulated the Club for the outstanding work being done by its members and extended his congratulations to the incoming team of emerging leaders. He appreciated the youth who have dedicated themselves to the cause of humanity and are learning to put service before self. Quoting Tagore, “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy”, he highlighted the joy contained in service. Giving life lessons from the poem, Mending Wall by Robert Frost, he advised the student community to remember ‘Good fences make good neighbours’. In each bond, lies a metaphorical wall that necessitates a certain distance to maintain and nurture relationships.

The Club In-charge, Mrs. Narang, in her Vote of Thanks expressed her gratitude towards the guests for motivating the students with their personal examples.
