Faridabad, March 24, 2018: The Orientation & Induction Programme was held for the parents of the newly admitted students at Apeejay School, Faridabad. Dr V.S. Garg, Education Advisor, Apeejay Education Society and Dr Jayanti Dutta, Counsellor & Expert Psychologist, were the key spokespersons for the occasion.

Faridabad, Feb. 11, 2018: The School celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Tirang Namah’, on 11th February 2018. Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Alok Mittal, IPS, Inspector General, National Investigation Agency, Guest of Honour, Dr. N.K. Pandey, Chairman and Managing Director, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, and special invitee, Dr. V.S. Garg, Education Advisor, Apeejay Education Society, lent grace to the occasion with their presence.

School Principal, Mr. Hari Om welcomed the guests and presented the Annual Report of the School. The achievements of the School – Academia, Co-curricular and Sports (at the international and national levels) were presented by the students. Prestigious medals, scholarships and trophies were awarded to the achievers by Mr. Alok Mittal, Mr. N.K. Pandey and Dr. V.S. Garg in the Prize Distribution Ceremony.

Mr. Alok Mittal, in his message, appreciated the efforts of the School in providing holistic educational experiences to the students. He advised the students to develop the habit of non-text book reading in them. Emphasizing the need to develop the spirit of community service among students, Mr. Mittal suggested that students must be associated with  some community project at the school level be it- education, health or hygiene. He further reiterated that children must be encouraged to ask questions in order to develop in them spirit of enquiry and scientific temper. He urged the audience to initiate the change that they want to see in the society..

The Musical feature ‘Tirang Namah’ narrated the saga of the tricolour, sharing with the audience how the Indian Flag was designed and adopted as a symbol of nationalism and freedom during its history of 90 years. The musical feature traced the history of the Tiranga from 1857 onwards and the vicissitudes it sailed through, to attain its present design.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. N.K. Pandey, too lauded the School community for providing a myriad of enriching learning experiences to its students.  

Highlighting the importance of health care services, Dr. N. K. Pandey exhorted the students to make ‘Medicine’ a choice of their profession. He also urged the audience to make a judicious use of social media to inculcate a positive approach to life.
