Faridabad, Feb. 17, 2018: The Primary Wing of the School celebrated its Appreciation Day ‘Wajood – The Indelible Imprint’ to mark the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Apeejay Education Society. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Atul Kumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate, Faridabad, while Mr. Rohit Rungta, Director, Cosmos Fibre Glass Ltd., Faridabad was the Guest of Honour. The School Principal, Mr. Hari Om, formally welcomed the guests and the Head Mistress, Mrs. Manisha Gulati, showcased the year’s activities and achievements through her report.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invoking God’s blessings through an invocation dance. An English play ‘The Necklace’ impressed the audience with its profound message of keeping pretentions at bay and being one’s original self.

The entire cultural programme was based on the theme reflecting that the inner light shines at its brightest only when we are rooted in timeless values that are inextricably intertwined in our rich culture. The foot tapping dances presented by the students enthralled the audience with their vibrant and zealous performance, emphasizing that happiness lies in preserving the rich heritage of India in the midst of modernization, keeping the mind, body and spirit in complete harmony as our ‘Wajood’.

The grand finale was an exclusive presentation, infusing each one with the thought of being resolute in fulfilling the ultimate purpose of our existence – keeping our path adorned with principles, rather than privileges. The programme was a great success with a mass participation of about 450 students.

Faridabad, Oct. 31, 2017: The Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Faridabad organised ‘Xpressions’2017’, an inter-school competition. The event comprised three major competitions, namely, Story Enactment with Puppets (for classes I & II), Nature in My Plate - Salad Decoration (for Class III) & Strokes of Life - an on-the-spot painting competition for classes IV & V. Six schools participated zealously with two participants in each category. The energy and passion showcased by each one of them was praise worthy. The event provided a platform to integrate learning with doing as is the demand of times.

Faridabad, Oct. 4, 2017: The Primary Wing of the School celebrated Founder’s Day to commemorate the 98th birth anniversary of the beloved Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society, Dr. Stya Paul. A special assembly was organised on this day.

The Headmistress and Class I students paid shradhanjali by lighting the ceremonial lamp & offering flowers. The students presented a talk show to highlight the life & philosophy of revered chairman sir. The significance of the School motto ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ was also highlighted through a speech. This was followed by a quiz on his life history & a group dance presentation. Famous couplets from Dr. Stya Paul’s book, ‘Reflections in Time’, were also read out. A poem based on the lessons learnt from the life and ideologies of Dr. Stya Paul was presented by the students.

The Headmistress read out the message from Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education Society, to the students and enlightened them about the legacy left behind by Dr. Stya Paul. Sweets were also distributed to the entire school.
