Faridabad, May 2021: Apeejay School, Faridabad (Primary Wing) observed Earth Week to sensitise the students to make that extra effort to help the environment: From switching off the lights, turning off the tap, planting trees, recycling, reducing, and reusing! They participated enthusiastically in various activities throughout the week. A few glimpses:
A quiz on Mother Earth, sapling plantation, and a poster-making activity that saw the students at their creative best. Class discussions on the 3 Rs, Kavya Lekhan on Prithvi Divas brought out the hidden talents and honed their literary skills, along with a talk on Earth Hour. Students pledged to say 'No to Plastic' and observe ‘Every Day as Earth Day’.
