Faridabad, Feb. 23, 2019: The Primary Wing of the School celebrated the Annual Appreciation Day – ‘Anugoonj’ - Resonance of Inner Voice on 23rd February 2019. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Padma Shri Vidushi Sumitra Guha, renowned Vocalist, Hindustani Classical Music, while Mr Arjun Lal, IRS, Joint Commissioner, Vigilance, Directorate General of Vigilance CBIC, Government of India and Mr Vijay Yadav, Former Test Cricketer, Indian Cricket Team were the Guests of Honour. School Principal, Mr SK Mishra, formally welcomed the guests and the Headmistress, Mrs Manisha Gulati, showcased the year’s activities and achievements through the Annual Report.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and an invocation dance was presented to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The play ‘Snow White - The tale retold’ emphasised the profound message of looking inwards to find positivity and beauty within ourselves. Majority of the students showcased their talents through various items like orchestra, dances & theatre and were awarded with various prizes for their achievements. The theatre enactment of ‘Little Women’ - was a special tribute to the country’s soldiers and sensitised the audience towards the sacrifices of the guardians of our country. The English choir ‘Heal the World’ was a heartfelt prayer to the world to embrace peace. The foot tapping dances presented by the students enthralled the audience with their vibrant and zealous performances to awaken the jazba of ‘Anugoonj’ and heed the resonance of the inner voice. The annual report was presented by the Headmistress and highlighted the achievements of our students.

The invited dignitaries, in their address appreciated the performances of the students and the efforts of the School for creating opportunities towards the holistic development of the student.

The grand finale was an exclusive presentation, infusing each one to follow the righteous path whispered as an inner voice, which will divinize and immortalize everyone. Two minutes silence was also observed to pay homage to the martyrs of Pulwama. The parents and guests appreciated the programme and the mass participation of students to make the event a grand success.
