Faridabad, Feb 2021: EUPHORIA, the Virtual Indoor Sports Day of the Pre-Primary Wing of Apeejay School, Faridabad was an event par excellence. Going virtual for sports day was a task but with the able support of parents, teachers, and the children it was a roaring success. The event was honoured by an eminent gynaecologist - Dr Kiran Chandana who encouraged the children and blessed them with a happy healthy life. The Guests of Honour were Ms Abha Agarwal, an eminent educationist, and Mr Rajendra Kumar Malhotra, and Mrs Suman Malhotra who have had a 42-year-old association with the school. The children enthralled everyone with their superb performances like Yoga, Aerobics, Zumba dancing, and their enthusiastic participation in races like Penguin Walk, Hungry Frogs, Balancing Balls, Lemon Race, Jumping Jacks. The School Principal, Dr Parul Tyagi applauded the parent-school connect and the In-charge, Ms Monica Rishi encouraged the children to participate with enthusiasm and spirit of sportsmanship.

All children need is a little help, a little hope, and someone who believes in them.

Faridabad, March 20, 2019: The Annual Appreciation Day, ‘Ullaas’, celebrating the ‘Joy of Life’ at Apeejay School, Faridabad was held on 20th March 2019. The Chief Guest, Mrs Sonia Bareja Punhani, an Educator, Counsellor & Master Story-Teller, and the Guest of Honour, Dr Shalini Sharma Gogia, Consultant - Anesthesia & Critical Care at Batra Hospital, New Delhi, lent grace to the occasion with their presence.

The programme commenced with a floral welcome and lighting of ‘Deepshika’. School Principal, Mr. S.K. Mishra, welcomed the parents and reiterated the importance of nurturing originality, creativity, spontaneity and imagination amongst children for holistic development of their intelligence and character.

The little ones from Pre-Nursery, Rhythms School rendered a mesmerising performance of the dance ‘Happy Days’. The beauty & grace resonating in the semi-classical performances, the Invocation ‘Ahaan’ and the Gujarati folk dance and also the vibrance exuberance radiating from other performances enthralled the audience. The play in English, ‘The Golden Pitcher’ was a testimony to the fact that theatre in education in the early foundation years encourages children to experience a gamut of emotions, honing their verbal and social skills. The play highlighted the importance of wisdom received from elders which gives strength and leads to happiness.

The proud moments when the little ones walked on the stage to receive their prizes and Certificates of Appreciation were shared by all present.

The Chief Guest, Mrs Sonia Bareja Punhani and the Guest of honour, Dr Shalini Sharma appreciated children’s hard work and lauded the efforts of the School in preparing children to participate with enthusiasm. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks and rendition of the National Anthem.
