Yashika Khurana of Class IX A clinched a Silver Medal (Category U-17 / Below 55 kg) in the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship, held at Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, from 19-24 November 2019.

Faridabad, November 23, 2019: Academic Excellence Day was celebrated in the School to appreciate academic achievements of the students. Dr Amrita Anand, Senior Resident, Hematology at Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi, lent grace to the occasion as the Chief Guest. Parents of meritorious students were also present as the special invitees.

The students were presented with prestigious badges and ties for academic excellence – a result of their diligence and perseverance. Cultural items were presented on the occasion including a dance celebrating Indian Mythology which drew much applause from the audience.

Appreciating the efforts of the School in grooming the young minds, the Chief Guest, Dr Anand, an alumna, advised the young student community to adopt an attitude of gratitude and to make wise & judicious use of their time. She asked them to think out of the box and live to make a difference.

Guided by the profound belief of the Founder Chairman of the Apeejay Education Society, Dr Stya Paul Ji, 'Human excellence goes parallel with academic excellence'. School Principal, Dr Parul Tyagi, in her message advised the students to strive for excellence which is nurtured through faith in self, vision that guides and dedication that refines.

Gurugram, November 8, 2019: Gurbani Chhabra of Class VII A won the second prize in category - B (classes VI-VIII) of a Drawing Competition on the topic 'Energy Conservation', recently organised at Pinewood International Boarding School, Main Sohna Road. The Competition was part of CBSE’s initiative of Hubs of Learning.
