Faridabad March 4, 2021: Young sports stars of Apeejay School, Faridabad - Yashika Khurana (Class X) and Akshita Khurana (Class VII) clinched two Gold medals each, in 32nd Haryana State Sub - Junior/ Cadet & Junior Girls Kyorugi and Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2020-21.

The School takes pride in sharing that Yashika Khurana was awarded for her tremendous work in the area of 'Self Defence and Women Empowerment' on the occasion of 'नारी उत्थान सप्ताह 2021' by Mrs Seema Trikha, Honorable MLA Faridabad, in a ceremony held at the Sports Complex Faridabad on March 4, 2021.

We are delighted to share with you the achievements of our students in sports - Japsimar Kaur, Hia Sachdeva, Siddharth Nagesh Samanta, and Yakshit Sharma, who participated in different international events -
Hia Sachdeva (Class X) and Siddharth Nagesh Samant (Class XI) participated in the Virtual JCUK Open Poomsae and Para Poomsae Championships held from 29th-31st January 2021 and clinched a Bronze medal in the pair category.

Hia Sachdeva also participated in the Online 2020 World Taekwondo Asia Poomsae Open Championship held from 1st November-5th December.

Hia and Yakshit Sharma (Class VI ) also participated in Heroes Taekwondo International League held from 30th-31st January 2021 which saw participants from America, England, Finland, Spain, Russia, Philippines Malaysia, etc.

Japsimar Kaur (Class VII) clinched a Bronze medal in the same event.

Yashika Khurana, an international Taekwondo player, was awarded the ‘Girl's Achiever's Award’ on the occasion of National Girl Child Day for her tremendous work in the 'बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ योजना' as the Brand Ambassador. She is an active social worker and helps by offering voluntary service for various programs like Blood Donation Camp, JRC Camp, Special Session Camp for self-defence (which was organised for Govt. Girls School). She was awarded by Honorable Deputy Commissioner, Shri YashPal Yadav ji, I.A.S.
