Haryana, Oct. 30, 2017:┬áThe Home Science Department organised ‘Slogan Writing’, ‘Poster-Making’ and ‘Cartooning’ competitions, according to the orders of Central Vigilance Commission, New Delhi. The College Principal encouraged all the prize-winners as she appreciated their efforts.

Haryana, Oct. 28, 2017:┬áThe NCC cadets of the College participated in a ‘Poster-Making Competition’ under ‘Mission Indradhanush’. Cadet Kavita, Cadet Suman and Cadet Rinku were also appreciated for their excellent contribution to the NCC activities.

Haryana, Nov. 30, 2015: The Pre-Primary wing of the School celebrated Sports Day on 26th, 27th and 30th November which saw enthusiastic participation and great team spirit by the young budding players. Appreciable skills of the young players were seen during the Football and Cricket matches.

Haryana, Nov. 26, 2015: Constitution Day was celebrated with full fervour in the School during the morning assembly wherein Mr. Kuldeep Singh (PGT English) briefly addressed the students about the significance of celebrating this day. Thereafter, students and staff took the pledge by reciting the ‘Preamble to the Constitution’. Aarunima (Class X) delivered an eloquent speech informing the young ones that it is our first and foremost duty to honour our democracy by celebrating 26th November as Constitution Day. This was followed by a quiz based on the various details of the Indian Constitution.

A Poster-Making Competition, to illustrate the message contained in the Preamble to the Indian Constitution, was organised for all students of classes VI to XII. Art teacher, Mr. Satvir Singh, selected the best three and declared the top three positions in each class level. The School Principal declared the winners and encouraged the students with a certificate of appreciation from the School. The Principal encouraged and motivated the young ones to become the true citizens of India. He briefed that the Preamble of the Indian Constitution records the aims and aspirations of the people of India and reflects the basic spirit of the Constitution. He further explained that taking the pledge on this important occasion in schools instills a sense of patriotism among all and engages young hearts and minds with a sense of being a part of one great nation.
