Haryana, November 14, 2014: A team of 23 students participated in an Inter-School Competition at Adarsh Public School in Charkhi Dadri on the occasion of Children’s Day. The participants brought laurels to the school by winning the overall trophy at the Competition. The budding talents left an indelible mark on the minds of everyone present at the event by performing exceptionally in speech, rangoli-making, science projects, henna designs and other competitions. In all, twenty five schools participated in the event.

Haryana, October 31, 2014: National Unity Day was celebrated in the School to observe the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. A special assembly was conducted to celebrate the occasion. The programme started with an eloquent speech by Muskan (Class X). She conveyed that National Unity means unity and unanimity among the people of India. A patriotic poem was presented by Kirti (Class X) that gave the message of Universal brotherhood. Through her enthusiastic poem, she inspired each one and appealed every Indian to reach the pinnacles of success. The School Principal, Mr. Sunil Chopra, also delivered an eloquent speech as he reflected upon the hardships faced by Sardar Patel, nicknamed the ‘Iron Man of India’. He exhorted the young learners to aim at peace and prosperity of the nation and to break the narrow domestic walls that destroy the unity of their nation.

The students took the pledge to serve the nation and to stay united. After that ‘A Run for Unity’ was held. The students and teachers also took part in the March Past. The school’s environment became even more patriotic when the students, carrying the slogans and banners participated in the activity. The overwhelming celebration on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas provided an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. It was an enriching and encouraging event.

Haryana, October 22, 2014: Diwali was celebrated enthusiastically in the School wherein Class X presented a mesmerising presentation through an enriching assembly. The students also took a pledge to say ‘no to crackers’. The rangolies prepared by the budding artists enthralled all. The decorated pots, chilams and surahis won the hearts of all. The innovative ideas applied to make different things were quite appreciable.

Inter House football matches for Sr.Boys were held on 17th & 18th October 2014. The Principal encouraged the players to play a fair game. The match started after the toss. The young promising players played with team spirit. Everyone enjoyed the matches.
