The participation in these activities helped them to exploit their skills and also provided a platform for them to compete with the best from other schools. The chess players who participated in CBSE North Zone Chess Championship performed splendidly and finished 5th in a group of 54 teams. They missed to qualify for the national level by the margin of half a point only

  • A TRIP TO SHIMLA
    6 teachers accompanied them. This was the first time that the Principal, Mr. Sunil Chopra also went with the students on an excursion, which proved a fairly informative and enjoyable trip for the students. On their back journey they also had some beautiful moments in the City Beautiful. They visited the Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and the Sunday Market in Sector-17. During this four-day visit, they visited various places.

  • WORKSHOP FOR PHYSICS TEACHERS 
    Venue: Apeejay School, Pitampura, New Delhi

    A workshop for Physics Teachers was conducted in Apeejay School, Pitampura. It was based on providing the resource materials comprising of High Order Thinking Skill Questions to Physics Teachers. The resource persons Mr. N. K. Sehgal and Mr. K. L. Chopra explained the formation of HOTS questions by taking certain examples from different units of class XII and by giving the solutions to these questions. 

  • WORKSHOP FOR MATHEMATICS TEACHERS
    Venue: K.M. Public School, Bhiwani
    Date: 9th December, 2008

    On December 9, 2008, Mr. Aman Gaur and Mr. Dharmendra Kumar Sharma attended a workshop at K.M. Public School, Bhiwani.  The resource person was Mr. I.C. Ahuja, M.A. (Mathematics), B.Ed.  He focused on the teaching methods in Primary, Middle and Secondary levels in the first round.  He discussed the curriculum of class X in the second round.  Over all, the workshop was an enriching one. 

  • WORKSHOP ON ADOLESCENCE EDUCATION

    A workshop on ‘Adolescence Education’ was conducted in Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar. Two of our teachers also attended this workshop. It was a fairly enriching experience for them. This workshop was conducted by C.B.S.E.
