Class Nursery to V

For these classes, we have a continuous assessment. Proper records for achievement levels, competencies are maintained. The evaluation is done on a five-point scale 'A+' to 'E':

Assessment of the pupil is done on the basis of his/her performance in the two Semester and four Monthly Assessments (two in each Semester). Syllabus covered and tested in the First Semester is not tested in the Final Semester. Pass percentage is 45% in each subject.

Class VI-VIII

Assessment of the pupil is done on the basis of his/her performance in the two Semester Exams and four Monthly Tests (two in each Semester). Part of the syllabi covered and tested in the First Semester is also included in the Final Semester Examination. Pass percentage is 40% in each subject.

Class IX

Assessment of the pupil is done on the basis of his/her performance in the two Semester Exams and four Monthly Tests (Two in each Semester). Full year's syllabus is tested in the Final Semester Examination. Pass percentage is 33% in each subject. The same is mandatory in the case Annual Examination.

Class XI

Assessment of the pupil is done on the basis of his/her performance in the two semester exams and three Monthly Tests. (One in Ist semester and two in IInd Semester) Full year's syllabus is tested in the Final Semester Examination. Pass percentage is 40% in each subject. The same is mandatory in the case Annual Examination.

Classes X & XII

Two terminal exams, First Semester (September) and Second Semester (December), along with one Pre-Board Examination (January) are held. Two Monthly Tests (May & August) are also conducted, two in First Semester.  In each of the terminal exams; theory and practical are assessed separately, as per CBSE pattern.

For classes V to XII, there is 1 hour duration for Monthly/Unit test. There will not be any retests till class VIII (included). For class IX & XI, compartment examination for a maximum of two subjects can be allowed only if score is at least 25% in those subjects.
