Dadri, Sep 23, 2022: The school organised fun and engaging activities on the Animal and Birds Theme Lesson Plans. During this activity, the students of Classes Nursery and KG understood that they shared their environment with many other animals and were able to identify many of them. The students were made aware about biodiversity.

They actively participated in the discussions about nesting, laying eggs, migration or spring. The students played the roles of their favourite birds and animals using masks and recited poems as well.

August 27, 2022: Students of Pre-Primary and Primary classes were told that washing hands is the first line of defense against the spread of many illnesses. They came to know that proper washing of their hands could help prevent the spread. As children come into contact with germs every day, to avoid this forever, they promised to maintain their personal hygiene always by washing hands and actively participated in the activity.

August 24, 2022: A session on Table Manners and Etiquettes was conducted on 24.8.2022 for students of the pre-primary section.

They learnt the correct way of setting the table and the basic etiquettes of coming to the table. Further, they learnt the use of a napkin, how to sit straight, to keep their mouth closed and not to talk with their mouth full. Also, the little ones were taught how to help clear the table, especially keeping their dishes away.

They were encouraged to take the required amount and not to waste any food. The children were taught to express their thankfulness for the food and for the person who cooked it.

Dadri, Aug 12, 2022: On the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Independence, to commemorate the monumental event and celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a thumb painting activity was conducted in Class III. The whole purpose of the activity was to enhance the feeling of patriotism and their love and respect for the nation. The students were briefed about the activity.

They were made aware of the freedom fighters through the Storytelling Sessions for Nursery kids. The students’ enthusiasm was also reflected in the singing sessions remembering great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel etc. The day concluded with the children echoing the slogan ‘Jai Hind Jai Bharat.’

Dadri, Aug 08, 2022: The students of Apeejay School Charkhi Dadri paid a heartfelt tribute to the freedom fighters of India by participating in a Fancy Dress Activity. It was organised for the students of Classes Nursery to IV.

Students came dressed in beautiful costumes depicting the role of freedom fighters and famous personalities like Subhash Chadra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Kalpana Chawla, Kiran Bedi, Mother Teresa, Narendra Modi, Mary Kom, Swami Vivekananda, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Sania Mirza etc.

All the participants came on the stage and spoke a few lines about the character they were impersonating. The students enthusiastically celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Principal Mr. Rudrendra Basak also appreciated the participants for their performances and expected them to learn the lessons of integrity and resilience from the lives of these courageous men.
