Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing)

The Institute offers full-time Post Graduate Diploma In Management (Marketing).

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) program aims at providing young, enthusiastic minds, the power to shape their career paths and develop in-depth knowledge, analytical and innovative thinking, commitment, ethics and values. The two-year full-time program spread over six terms is envisioned to develop an integrated perspective of marketing function and give the students a strong foundation, necessary for assuming marketing roles.

PGDM (Marketing) program of Apeejay School of Management (ASM) is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The program covers general management courses common to all functional areas of management with specialization in the selected areas of study. The curriculum structure consists of core courses and three specialization tracks i.e. Advertising & Brand Management, FMCG & Retail and BFSI-Marketing. Students have to choose any one specialization track. It also includes a 10-12 weeks’ summer internship project after completion of 3rd term and a research project spanning 4th, 5th & 6th Terms.

ASM is guided by its mission of creating globally competitive, socially sensitive, and ethically sound business leaders. Student learning at ASM is based on theory, cases, projects and experiential learning methods. All the courses are designed in a manner that accommodates latest trends in Management practices and research. 

PGDM(Marketing) program is designed to meet emerging marketing needs of the industry characterized by globalization, advancements in information and communication technologies and unbound entrepreneurial spirit across the world. ASM is conscious of the need of the corporate for managerial talent imbued with appropriate conceptual foundations, analytical skills, social sensitivity, ethical mind-set and ability to work in a highly competitive environment.

Program Structure

In the PGDM (Marketing) program of ASM, a student has to study in all 38 courses. Out of the 38 courses, 24 are core courses and14 are elective courses, spread over three specialization tracks. PGDM (Marketing) program of ASM has 108 credits. Both core courses and electives under various specialization tracks are subject to change based on shifting industry requirements so as to maintain relevance of the PGDM (Marketing) program.

The institute offers specialization tracks in Advertising & Brand Manangement, FMCG & Retail and BFSI-Marketing. Students can choose electives from a specialization track. Students will also have to choose a Research Project.
