The Red Bricks Summit – HRmony

Ahmedabad, Sep. 30, 2018: Students of the 2017-19 batch of the PGDM program (Aditi Dayal, Kaninka Minhas and Nandita Tanwar) participated in the HRmony (case study competition) – an event of The Red Bricks Summit, organised by the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM A). Students cleared the first two rounds (online) and went for the final round held at the IIM A campus. Out of the total participation by nearly 2000+ colleges (overall India), Apeejay School of Management secured the much coveted 7th position.

Workshop on Psychometric Testing at IITM

New Delhi, Sep. 27, 2018: Dr Shweta Jha conducted a two-hour workshop on Psychometric Testing at IITM, wherein she covered personality test, situational test and verbal reasoning as part of the sessions. Participants appreciated the session as they attempted some of the tests and learnt about their strengths & weak spots. The event was organised as part of the Outreach Program of the Apeejay School of Management.

IMC Brand Case Study

New Delhi, Sep. 8, 2018: Under the subject of Integrated Marketing Communication, Apeejay School of Management organised a ‘Brand Case Study Annual Showcase’ by students who worked on developing an Integrated Marketing Communication Campaign after doing an in-depth Consumer Behaviour Research. They created the Advertising Strategy, Creative Strategy, Media Strategy, PR Strategy and Events Strategy, etc. Students also developed the Brand Identity, TVC, Print Ad Campaign, Radio Spots, Digital Campaign, Media Planning, PR Campaign, Influencer Campaign and Event Campaign for the hypothetical brand under a well-known parent company. Students were guided by Prof. Preeti Suryawanshi and were judged by experts from the advertising industry including Mr Ranjan Mazumdar and Mr Saurabh Dasgupta.

Youth Summit on Sustainable Development 2018

New Delhi, Aug. 31, 2018: Apeejay School of Management organised ‘Youth Summit on Sustainable Development’ to raise awareness about environmental issues. About 150 students from 16 colleges from Delhi NCR participated in the Inter-College Presentation, Collage and Poster-Making Competitions on themes related to sustainability. Mr O P Khanduja, Executive Director, Dr Amit Sareen, Officiating Director and Prof. Kamal Kishore, Dean gave away cash prizes and certificates to the winners.

Industrial Visit to Hero MotoCorp

New Delhi, March 16, 2018: PGDM students (Batch 2017-19)  of ASM visited Hero MotoCorp to understand the manufacturing process. A brief overview of plan, manufacturing process, CSR activities , etc. were provided to the students before the plant visit. Students also got an opportunity to visit the assembly line and testing track. It was a great learning experience for the students.
