MDP on Labour Law Reforms and Labour Codes

New Delhi, Feb 2, 2021: ASM organised an MDP on ‘Labour Law Reforms and Labour Codes’ for the HR officers of POSOCO on 1-2 February 2021. Prof Kamal Kishore, Dean, ASM, Dr Srirang Jha, Associate Professor & Head, General Management Area, and Dr Ishita Adhikari, Associate Professor & Head, HR Area were the resource persons at the MDP. The MDP was conducted interactively with lots of quizzes and discussions.

MDP on 'The Role of Cooperation in Regional Economic Development and Connectivity'

New Delhi, Dec 26, 2020: ASM conducted six days MDP on 'The Role of Cooperation in Regional Economic Development and Connectivity' for senior diplomats from MoFA Afghanistan from 21- 26 December 2020. The diplomats were trained on aspects like Regional Trade Agreements, Regional Economic Cooperation, Dividends of Connectivity and Regional Trade Agreements, Impact of Heart of Asia on the developments of member countries & the region, Role of Economic Cooperation in Regional Security, and People-to-People Diplomacy.

The sessions were conducted by senior bureaucrats, journalists, and academicians like Mr Shakti Sinha, Director, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Policy Research and International Studies, MS University, Vadodara, Rtd. IAS & Ex-Director, Nehru Memorial Museum, and Library; Dr Vijaya Katti, Professor, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, Dr Amit Sareen, Director, Apeejay School of Management, Dr Prabir De, Professor, Research and Information System for Developing Countries and Ms Aarti Tikoo Singh, Foreign & Strategic Affairs Editor, Indo-Asian News Service (IANS), to name a few.

Workshop on Leadership Capability Development for High Potential Managers

ASM conducted a two day E - workshop for high-potential Managers, of FIS Global, a fortune 500 organization Headquartered at Florida, US, on 9th and 10th Dec 2020. The workshop aimed at complimenting the fast track one year leadership development program being conducted by FIS, Global for a team of women high performers. Almost two dozen participants from across functions (Financial analyst, Operations Manager and logistic and solutions, Shared service centre) attended the program.

The workshop had sessions on Leadership competencies, styles of leadership, Motivating Individual contributors, Mentoring capability and functions. The sessions were made interactive with use of several pedagogical tools like assessment questionnaire, case lets, article reading and power point led discussions. The facilitators used reflective learning techniques to ensure greater engagement and learning.

The Program was delivered by a team consisting of Professor E.P Singh and Professor Ishita Adhikari. The program was rated as “exceeding expectations” and got rave reviews not only from the participants but also the FIS leadership.

Online MDP on Data Visualization

New Delhi, June 24, 2020: Apeejay School of Management conducted a two-day online Management Development Program (MDP) on Data Visualization on 23rd -24th June 2020 (11:00 am -1:00 pm) on Zoom. The participants of the program comprised corporate and faculty members from diverse functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Finance and Project Executives & Analysts.

The two-day MDP aimed at creating awareness among the participants about the relevance and applications of data visualisation in their respective domains. The Program covered various aspects like introduction to Data Visualisation, types of visualisation & graphs, introduction to Tableau and making of Dashboard using Excel & Tableau. The interactive session included various activities and case study discussions. The Program was conducted by Dr Monika Arora, Associate Professor, Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka.

Workshop on Financial Modelling

New Delhi, June 13, 2020: Dr Sudhi Sharma and Dr Vaibhav Agarwal conducted an online workshop on 'Financial Modelling' on 13th June 2020. The participants included members from corporates, faculty and some research scholars. The workshop delivered in a lucid way, from scratch to advance, the full fledged financial model of the auto industry. Participants found it to be rigorous along with strong content.
