Workshop on 'Analytics and Business Modelling using Excel'

New Delhi, June 11, 2021: ASM conducted a one-day Workshop on 'Analytics and Business Modelling using Excel', on 11th June 2021. Dr. Shalini Vermani and Dr. Anchal Gupta, faculty at Apeejay School of Management were the resource persons for the Workshop. More than 15 participants from Government organisations, Universities, other Academic Institutions, and corporates attended the workshop. Participants were from organisations like the Ministry of Statistics, Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda, Amity University, Noida, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, IIHMR, Delhi, and Fusion Equipment Pvt. Ltd., to name a few.

It was a hands-on workshop that covered topics like Data Exploration, Data Visualization, Dashboard, Statistical Analysis Tools, Forecasting, Descriptive, Prescriptive Analytics, and Data Optimization using Solver. The program was highly appreciated by all the participants.

Workshop on Mind Mapping using Xmind

New Delhi, May 8, 2021: ASM conducted an open online workshop on ‘Mind Mapping using Xmind’, on 8th May 2021 via Zoom. The workshop was attended by almost one dozen participants from Corporate, Academia, and students.

Dr. Preeti Suryawanshi, started the four-hour workshop with familiarization of the topic followed by learning about Brain Function and integrating the mind mapping technique. The sessions were embedded with quizzes and activities to engage the participants. The participants showed keen interest in learning the new concept and its application in various fields. The last session was dedicated to learning software for Mind Mapping “Xmind” which gave them a hands-on experience of drawing mind maps which was highly appreciated by the participants.

Webinar on ‘Wellness Quotient’ on International Women's Day

New Delhi, March 8, 2021: ASM, in collaboration with Uniworld Care India, celebrated International Women's Day on 8th March 2021 via Zoom. The webinar was focused on the theme ‘Wellness Quotient of Urban Working Women’, initiating dialogue to discuss the needs and challenges faced by today's stalwart corporate women in climbing the ladder of success, and the plausible solutions for bringing work-life balance for improving quality of their life and healthy aging, longevity and better productivity.

The webinar panelists included Dr.Tripti Sharan, Gynaecologist, BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. Vandana Mishra, Private Practitioner and School Psychologist, Dr. Shanuja Beri, Dept. of Zoology, Kalindi College, University of Delhi, Ms. Sanjoyita Raina, Senior Corporate Leader, and Pharmaceutical Sales Management Professional, Ms. Nimisha Dutta, Head, ReLawnch, Ms. Tasneem Ali, Certified Nutrition & Lifestyle Specialist and Ms Garima Gulati Bhutani, Vice President, HR & Communications at Client Associates. The program was moderated by Dr. Radhika Shrivastava Adholeya, CEO, Uniworld Care India, and Dr. Monika Arora, ASM.

Workshop on Predictive HR Data Analysis Using Python

New Delhi, Feb 28, 2021: A two-day workshop on ‘Predictive HR Data Analysis using Python’ was organised on 27-28 February 2021. Participants from both corporate as well as from academia were given hands-on training on using Python to build a predictive model. The session was conducted by Dr. Shweta Jha. The participants were very appreciative of the session and requested more such sessions in the future.

MDP on Data Visualisation Using Tableau

New Delhi, Feb 27, 2021: ASM organised a one-day Online Management Development Program/ Faculty Development Program on ‘Data Visualisation using Tableau’ on February 27, 2021, over zoom. The MDP covered topics such as Data Visualization, Analysis and Text Analytics, visualization such as line-chart, bar-chart, treemap, map, scatter plot, etc. and the unique features such as creating interactive dashboards & stories, text analytics techniques such as word cloud and network diagram using the Voyant tool. The participants were a mix of corporates and teaching professionals. The resource person was Dr Monika Arora, Associate Professor, ASM.
