New Delhi, March 15, 2019: ASM conducted a two-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on 14th and 15th March 2019 on the topic ‘Research Techniques’. The FDP included sessions on various aspects of research techniques like scaling, sampling methods, hypothesis testing, regression, time series, event study, Johansen Co-integration, VECM, Granger Causality, Impulse Response, etc. Dr Shweta Jha, Dr Priya Gupta and Dr Parul Bhatia were the resource persons for the FDP. Overall, the FDP was well appreciated by all the participants.
New Delhi, Feb. 23, 2019: ASM conducted a Management Development Program (MDP) on ‘Prevention of Sexual Harassment against Women at Workplace (POSH)’, on 23rd February 2019. The Workshop was attended by participants from corporate, academia, students and ICC members. It was a sensitization cum awareness intervention for the participants and covered various aspects like the concept of sexual harassment, employers’ obligations and redressal mechanism under the Law. This was followed by interactive sessions on Indian cases and role of HR in ensuring the implementation of the POSH guidelines. The Workshop, delivered by Prof. Kamal Kishore and Prof. Ishita Adhikari, supported by Prof. Manpreet Kaur, was highly appreciated by all the participants.
New Delhi, Dec. 15, 2018: Apeejay School of Management conducted an open program on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment against women at workplace) for the corporate executives, faculty members and management students at ASM, Dwarka campus.
With two dozen attendees, the program had a healthy turn out from industry, students and academia. The four-hour workshop was a sensitization cum awareness intervention for the participants. The program covered various aspects like Concept of Sexual Harassment, Employers Obligations and Redressal Mechanism under the Law. This was followed by interactive sessions on Indian cases and Role of HR in ensuring the implementation of the POSH guidelines. The Program, delivered by Professor Kamal Kishore and Professor Ishita Adhikari, was highly appreciated by all the participants.
