19th Convocation Ceremony

New Delhi, Dec. 2, 2017: Apeejay School of Management (ASM) organised its 19th Convocation Ceremony on 2nd December 2017 at its Dwarka campus. On this occasion, 124 graduating students received their Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Four students were also awarded medals for their overall outstanding academic performance.

His Excellency, Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki Ji, Governor of Haryana, delivered the Convocation address. He observed that a country does not become prosperous merely by material or economic growth but via intellectual leadership. He urged the graduating students to work towards making India a ‘vishwa guru’. He emphasised the need of following four Ds for success in life i.e. Determination, Dedication, Discipline and Dynamism.

Mrs. Sushma Pual Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education Society and Co-Founder & Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, presided over the function and conferred the diplomas. Mrs. Berlia, during her address, shared her views about holistic preparation for a journey called life by enriching the mind, body and soul. She urged the graduating students to realise their full potential and strive for greater good of the society.

Mr. Nishant Berlia, General Secretary, Apeejay Education Society, was also present on the occasion. Prof. (Dr.) Amit Sareen, Officiating Director, ASM, presented a report on the Institution’s achievements in the past academic year. Mrs. Berlia also administrated the oath of ethical conduct to the students. A galaxy of scholars, members of the Governing Body, Academic Advisory Council, graduating students and their parents, attended the Convocation Ceremony.

18th Convocation Ceremony

New Delhi, Sep. 24, 2016: ASM organised its 18th Convocation Ceremony wherein 67 graduating students received their Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Five students were awarded medals for overall outstanding academic performance. Mr. Aditya V. Berlia, Co-Founder and Pro-Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, and honourable member of the Board of Governors, Apeejay School of Management, presided over the function and conferred the diplomas.

Mr. Berlia, during his address shared his views on the need to keep learning, not only from success but also from failure. He also advised the students to think themselves as a personal brand, work on it and stressed that instead of obsessing on titles they should be after interesting work. He also said that “the source of all dishonesty is our own insecurities”. He also asked the students to practice being happy and grateful.

Prof. Alok Saklani, Director, Apeejay School of Management, presented a report about the Institution’s achievements in the past academic year. The ceremony concluded with Mr. Berlia administrating the oath of ethical conduct to the students.
