Faridabad, Nov 02, 2021 : A Special assembly to celebrate the Diwali festival was conducted virtually on 2nd November 2021. The assembly began with the almighty’s blessing, school pledge, thought for the day, news headlines and drawing our focus on the ongoing happening around the world. Students sang a prayer song, danced and recited beautiful chaupai.

Speaking on the event, Principal Mrs Deepika Arora emphasised to celebrate a pollution- free Diwali.

Faridabad, Oct 30, 2021: Apeejay Svran Global School organised a Diwali Mela – ‘Alankaran’ on the School premises. It was a fun-filled event with an art and craft exhibition, games for the students, a stage for dancing, stalls packed with eatables, and many goodies like handmade chocolates, scented gel candles, and handmade trays for Diwali. A pretty rangoli at the entrance welcomed the visitors to the event.

The mela depicted the vibrance of this festival. The atmosphere was charged with fun and festivity. The students visited the mela with their parents and went on a little shopping spree. All the stalls drew huge crowds and the wares got completely sold out in no time. Students sang and danced freely to lively music. They also wrote their feedback about the mela.

Principal, Mrs Deepika Arora, was the driving force behind the concept. She appreciated the efforts of all the students and teachers in taking care of every detail to make the mela a runaway success. The event concluded on a happy note and everyone felt confident to be able to organise more such events in the future.

Faridabad, Oct 30, 2021:A special assembly was conducted for Classes I-V on 30th October 2021 to celebrate Haryana day. It was organised by students of Class IV and started with Morning Prayer followed by the thought of the day. Students further explained the significance of this day, the rich heritage and culture of the state.

Finally, the assembly ended with Local folk dance ‘Ghoomer’ presented by a student of class III.

Faridabad, Oct 29, 2021 : The students of Class Nursery to II got a feel of international festivals as part of their ongoing theme. They virtually celebrated Halloween Day.

Looking forward to the day, they were excited and well prepared with costumes, props and make up.

Class-II presented a special assembly on the occasion, stating the facts related to the festival. Lavish compered the whole programme with much poise. Kavya and Onkar chanted the prayers while Viraj led the assembly for the pledge. Navya presented the thought for the day and Ujjwal, Shivansh and Hamzah read out the daily news. Aarav, Aarya and Parth presented facts about the festival through a PPT.

All the classes had a fun-filled party thereafter, dancing to special Halloween music, preparing spooky sandwiches with a wide variety of materials like ketchup, chocolate sauce, and slices of fruits of different colours.

They also played a Trick-or-Treat quiz, for which they kept a bowl of sweets ready. The teacher asked them some questions and upon replying correctly to them they had to treat themselves to candies and chocolates.

They had a lot of fun dancing to music and trying to scare one another. It was a great time they had in the party.
