The School celebrated Environment Week from April 16, 2012 till April 21, 2012. The school conducted plethora of activities to sensitise the children towards the vital issues concerning environment .The short skit “One small piece of paper” taught them that each child should contribute towards keeping the surroundings clean. The talk show on global warming presented by Class VIII came up with innovative ideas to combat the increase in temperature. Hindi and English poem recitation, environmental vocabulary building, e-way of celebrating birthdays were a few other activities undertaken. The students shared one innovative practice each day to keep a check on the growing pollution levels and to save paper.
Apeejay Svran Global School celebrated a vibrant cultural evening ‘Spectrum’ on March 25, 2012. A plethora of cultural programmes marked the celebration. The Programme commenced with a classical Ganesh Vandana followed by breath-taking folk dance performances. The presentation by Nursery and KG students enthralled the audience. The dance and drama performance named as “Dawn of India” kept the audience spell bound. Pied Piper Play, a group song – I have a Dream were appreciated by all. The meritorious students of the School were felicitated and appreciated by the Chief Guest, Dr.Vibha Parthasarathi, Former Chairperson - National Commission for women and a leading Educationalist.
The School celebrated Library Week starting from 23rd April, 2012 till 27th April, 2012. The week was packed with a variety of activities for the children in order to inculcate a long lasting interest for reading in them.
The activities undertaken were:

- Make a book cover
- English story telling competition
- Book review
- Discussion on “Author I like the most and why”
- Discussion on “Which Genre of books I like most”
- Article writing on “My favourite magazine”
The students shared amazing facts about books. The discussions on the topics like “Importance of Newspapers” and “Good habit of reading” were also held.
The students of the School celebrated ‘Road Safety Day’ on July 12, 2012. A theme based assembly was conducted wherein the students participated in talk show presenting the road safety rules. The school choir sang the road safety song. The students were apprised about the safety rules by the teachers and the Principal, Ms. Purnima Vohra. The usage of seat belt, ISI marked helmet was stressed upon. The students were educated about the usage of Zebra crossing, traffic lights and hazards of using mobile phones while driving. All this was done in an interesting and educative manner. This was a followup of their visit to the college of Traffic Management which was the source of their inspiration.
The students took a pledge to spread the awareness about these rules to everyone around them – their parents, neighbours and friends.
The slogan was - Be Alive! Be Safe! Accidents hurt!
