Grandparents Day was celebrated by the students of Kindergarten wherein the little ones prepared songs, dances and plays to perform for their grandparents. Dr. Ruchi Jain, Paediatrician & Dr. Vishal Juneja, Dental Surgeon and CEO, Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research were the Special Guests for the day. Senior citizens from an Old Age Home were special invitees for the day.
The theme for the day was ‘Values’ wherein the students showcased a play based on how grandparents care for the family and how this love can be reciprocated by the children. The action song also comprised a lively dance by the students. The most spectacular show of the day was the enactment of the Ramayana, with the students delivering dialogues in their own peculiar ways. The programme concluded with a lively Dandiya dance performance.
Many games and stalls consisting of Tumble Tower, Ring the Objects, Henna & Bangle Stall, Musical Chairs, and Tug of War were organised for the grandparents.
The grandparents also received a copy of The Bhagwat Gita and Reflections in Time from their grandchildren.
