Students were asked to make a landscape scene using their own imagination
COMPOSITION WITH GEOMETRICAL SHAPES
Students were asked to make different objects using geometrical shapes like circle, square, triangle and rectangle, etc.
UNDER WATER SCENE
Students were asked to make a underwater scene showing the life of water animals.
VILLAGE SCENE
Students were told to make a village scene showing the rural life of people and coloured it with oil pastel colours.
SUMMER SCENE
Make a summer scene showing children eating ice cream, playing in water, etc.)
PAPER FOLDING (ORIGAMI)
Tulip flower, tree, butterfly, rabbit, fish, bat mask, swan, elephant face, hut and cat were made by students using paper folding techniques.
SHADING (Pencil)
Students were introduced to the basic concept of shading (light to dark tones) using HB pencils.
SHADING (oil pastel)
Introduction of shading in oil pastels were given to students by using the basic concept of light and dark tones.
DOODLING
Students were asked to make a composition showing doodling in it.
EMBOSS PAINTING
Students were introduced about the technique and method of emboss painting
QUILLING
An introduction on the techniques of quilling were given to students and were asked to make a painting or a card using these techniques
PIN WHEEL
Students were told to make a pin wheel using origami sheet by paper folding techniques.
POSTERS ON WAR N PEACE
Students of classes V to VII were asked to make a poster on war and peace .The main motive of this activity is to create awareness among students regarding the negative effects of war and how we can stop it.
RECYCLING OF PAPER
A demonstrations on how we can recycle paper using old magazine and newspapers were given to students. Students of classes VI and VII participated in it.
COMPOSITION WITH GEOMETRICAL SHAPES
An introduction on how we can use geometrical shapes were given to the students of Class III and they were also taught about the traditional art form ‘warli’ as it is basically done by using geometrical shapes .
VIVID AND VIBRANT COLOURS
An introduction on vivid and vibrant colours as well as on costumes of different countries (Korea, Japan & Spain) were given to the students of classes II, IV & V and they were asked to decorate their dolls in different country’s costumes using paper cuttings.
