Along with the regular academic programme, the School encourages students to have practical exposure by conducting the site visits to make them study the building services, latest construction techniques & equipments, green building technologies, building automation systems, etc. In today’s context where India is trying to move up the ladder of development, nothing can replace the experience of architects who have learnt to see the world with different perspectives. This is made possible in Apeejay through some of the following site visits conducted by the faculty.

Visit to International Trade Fair

Greater Noida, March 4, 2017: Students of B. Arch (first year) visited the ‘International Trade Fair for Furniture Production Technologies, Wood Working Machinery, Tools, Fittings, Accessories, Raw Materials and Production’ at Expo Mart, Greater Noida, to learn about the process of manufacturing Timber products under the guidance Ar. Kuldeep Mishra. Faculty members & students could see the latest technologies of wood work available in the market. Students interacted with experts & also received participation certificates.

Educational Tour to Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Jan. 29, 2017: Apeejay School of Architecture and Planning organised a three-day educational trip to Chandigarh from 27th to 29th January for its first year B. Arch. students accompanied by faculty members, Ar. Ruchika Sharma, Ar. Richa, Ar. Kuldeep and Ar. Amitesh. The students visited Chandigarh College of Architecture, Capitol Complex, Govt. Museum, Le Corbusier Centre, Gandhi Bhawan, Sector 17 Plaza, Rock Garden, Pinjore Garden, among other places.

Vastukala Academy Visit

New Delhi, Jan. 16, 2017: The students of the first year, along with few students of 2nd year, accompanied by the faculty visited Vastukala Academy on 16th Jan 2017. The objective of the visit was to give the students an exposure to interact with the architecture students and see their works so that they can exchange ideas, understandings & experiences of the studio and college life.


Rashtrapati Bhawan

New Delhi, Jan. 14, 2017: A visit was organised to the Rashtrapati Bhawan and Akshardham Temple for the students of first year, led by Ar. Richa Goyal and Ar. Kuldeep Mishra. Students visited the Rashtrapati Bhawan Museum, country’s only underground museum and boasted of state-of-the-art virtual reality exhibitions.
