Along with the regular academic programme, the School encourages students to have practical exposure by conducting the site visits to make them study the building services, latest construction techniques & equipments, green building technologies, building automation systems, etc. In today’s context where India is trying to move up the ladder of development, nothing can replace the experience of architects who have learnt to see the world with different perspectives. This is made possible in Apeejay through some of the following site visits conducted by the faculty.

Greater Noida, April 6, 2017: Some students of the B. Arch programme (1st & 2nd year) visited the government primary school at Sector 22, Noida, with the support of an NGO ‘SANKALP’. Social Awareness about ‘Best Use of Waste’

Greater Noida, April 3, 2017: Students of the B. Arch programme (first year), inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Clean India Movement, prepared a dustbin out of used Coca Cola bottles. With the help of a small skit, students spread the awareness among the people that ‘waste can be put to the best use’. They also made planters with used tyres in the college campus and various other creative things out of waste material. People liked the idea and appreciated the students' efforts.
