Course Objective: The goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive overview of Business and Financial Journalism. More emphasis is placed on knowledge and concept learning, as well as skill-based training and hands-on experience with media tools and technologies. It prepares students to work in the media and entertainment industries as specialised business and financial journalists or anchors.
The course module was created with their teaching and learning methods in mind, which include:
- Teaching based on concepts and knowledge
- Learning based on skills
- Data, tools, technique, and technology-based training

The delivery methods include lecture-based, interactive discussion-based, experiential learning through projects, experiential learning from industry interface, direct interaction with the industry, and internships. The programme will create a teaching-learning model that will be integrated with individual and group research to improve students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence in order to make them efficient and effective journalists.
Duration: 1 Year (Full Time)
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. Those appearing in their final year are also eligible to apply.
Preference will be given to those who have an aptitude to demystify the world of Business and Financial News.
Internship: 8 Weeks
Fees: Rs. 2,60,000/- (Payable in 2 installments)
Rs. 5000/- Caution Money (Refundable after the Completion of the Course)
