New Delhi, Jan 31, 2020: Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) organised the 3rd edition of its flagship event ‘Media Chaupal’, held on 31st January 2020, at Apeejay Dwarka Campus. The event featured discussions with some of the most experienced media professionals from across India, including Prof. KG Suresh, Eminent Journalist & Professor Emeritus, AIMC, Smita Prakash, Editor-in-Chief, ANI, Dr Ajit Pathak, National President, PRSI, Navneet Anand, Managing Director, Grey Matters, Ruben Banerjee, Editor-in-Chief, Outlook India and Atul Chaurasia, CEO, Newslaundry.
Media Chaupal aims at providing college students an open forum to discuss and gain insight into various media fields like Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Management and Social Media. Faculties and students from various colleges across Delhi NCR witnessed open discussions on the evolution of storytelling as the most powerful tool in the Communications industry. Media stalwarts and experts held discussions on how the Indian Media & Entertainment Industries – specifically Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communication – are undergoing a phenomenal change in the age of digital freedom.
