This course aims to provide an integrated overview of television and radio journalism/production. More emphasis is given on the art and craft of the audio-visual world. Practical hands-on training is the core of the learning process.
The Advertising & Marketing Communication course is designed to give a thorough working knowledge of the Advertising world. A strong emphasis is laid on students’ performance evaluation through projects & practical assignments and research.
This course enables students for a dynamic career in the rapidly growing field of Digital Media. Students gain the wide-range of skills and insights of Digital Media and Online Journalism.
This course provides an opportunity to develop an understanding of the strategic management of public relations and event management by analysing the history and current trends of the professions. Students will be immersed in critical thinking, analysis, and writing opportunities to refine their understanding of major concepts & theories associated with Public Relations and Event Management – trends & initiatives.
This course aims to provide an integrated overview of Business and Financial Journalism. More emphasis is given on the knowledge and concept learning; skill based training and practical hands-on learning of media tools and technologies. It enables students to join as specialized business and financial journalist cum anchor in the media and entertainment industry.
Those candidates who have secured 60% aggregate or above marks in graduation or in the first two years of graduation and whose results are awaited, will be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test. They will be considered for admission under ‘Direct Admission’ category and will only have to appear for Interview.
Those candidates who have secured below 60% aggregate marks in graduation or in first two years of graduation and whose results are awaited, will have to appear for a written examination followed by a Personal Interaction.
I. Joining Media Industry – TV Channels, Advertising Agencies, PR & Digital Firms, and Event Management Companies, etc.
II. Are eligible for Direct Admission* into 2nd year MA in Journalism & Mass Communication at Apeejay Stya University (UGC recognised) – thereby saving one year* under lateral entry in accordance with UGC's Choice Based Credit System.
