Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication has been pioneered in India for the quality education in Mass Communication and Marketing. The flagship program of PGDM - Mass Communication approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is an integrated program to train people for India's rapidly burgeoning media sector. The program is aimed to address the paradigm shift from traditional media of print and broadcast to digital based platforms in the media sector today.
This course aims to enhance the creative competencies and the managerial aptitude of the students in order to make them excel in the dynamic and highly competitive media industry and prepare them for the sectors that drastically re-writing the rules of Mass Communication. AIMC will provide hands-on training on marketing, finance, people & resource management, planning, developing strategy, research & production knowledge and skill set for media & entertainment industry, including latest technology with skills on various relevant softwares.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (10+2+3) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Indian or foreign university. Candidates in their final year of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply (provided their aggregate marks up to the final year must be 50% or above), subject to meeting eligibility criteria and submitting proof.
The Institute considers CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT/ CMAT/ATMA scores for admission to its PGDM (Mass Communication) program. Based on merit, candidates who qualify on various parameters (CAT/ MAT etc. scores, graduation scores) will be called for Group Discussion, Personal Interview to be held at AIMC Campus and possibly other cities in India.
