SENIOR SCHOOL STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS
- Akshay Sohal of class XII B has qualified to be in the top 24 for TV Science Show ‘SCIMIND INDIA’.
- TECHNOTHLON -The national School Championship prelims were conducted on 19th July 2009(Sunday) in about 50 centers spanning the entire country. The following students were short listed
Team 1 Mehul Garg and Abhinav R. of Class XI A (Hauts Squad)
Team 2 Prasuk Jain and Manav Wadhawan of Class X D (Junior Squad)
and were invited to participate at IIT Guwahati from 3rd-6th September.
- “Future Cities 2020” project essay was approved by Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with Bentley systems, USA. The student participants are Rachit Mehrotra(XI A), Pranjay Modi(XI B), Twinkle Nanda(XI C) and Kanika Magan(XI C). A total of 45 schools participated and 15 top schools were short listed. The final project would be submitted in January 2010.
- Apeejay qualifies for the 8th year in succession at International Informatics Olympiad.
Priyanshi Agrawal (XII A) & Shikha Chanji(XI D) qualified for the second round of the Zonal Informatics Olympiad 2009 conducted by CBSE.
Priyanshi Agrawal (XII A) qualified the second round of Informatics Olympiad held in January 2009. She attended a training program in June 2009.
- Siddhant Tuli and Kshitj Jain secured 14th and 15th positions respectively in the National Mathematics Olympiad.
- Literary week was organized in Apeejay School, Pitampura on 4th October,2008. Smriti Mishra won the First Prize in the English Debate. Overall Trophy was also bagged by the school.
- English Debate was organized by Bal Bharati School, Noida on 28th July 2008. First Prize & Overall Trophy was bagged by Apoorva Sharma(XI A), Yashaswini Pratap(XI A).
- English Elocution “Wither Indian Family Values” organized by Gandhi Samiti and Darshan Samiti on 23rd July 2008. The Second Prize was bagged bySmriti Mishra(XII A) which included a cash prize of Rs. 900/, books, a trophy and a certificate. 49 schools participated from Delhi and NCR for “Dandi March” Rolling Trophy.
An Inter School Basketball Tournament was held from 29th August to 1st September 2008 in the school playground. 12 teams participated from Gautam Budha Nagar and Greater Noida. Final match was held between Apeejay School, Noida and Dharam Public School. Dharam Public School, Greater Noida won the finals.
- On 2nd May 2008, a Basketball Tournament(under 14 boys) was held at Vishwa Bharti School, Noida. Our school won the Second Prize.
Anushree Chatterjee, XI C, had participated in the art competitions and was a Kalabhushan Awardee in the field of “Painting and Fine Arts” for three years, i.e., 2006, 2007 and 2008. Anushree was awarded the Kalabhushan Award in 2008 for her outstanding achievement in winning the Kalashree Award for three years continuously. This award is given by Nehru Bal Samiti. She also visited Hyderabad to attend the National Cultural Festival titled “Unity in Diversity” in collaboration with Arts, Cultural and Crafts Society, Andhra Pradesh.
- Chaitanya Kansal (XI A) has secured the prestigious ‘National Times NIE Student of the year award’. This award includes a scholarship cheque of Rs. 1000/-, a certificate and a trophy.
- Priya Agarwal (XI A) is the recipient of prestigious Chacha Nehru Scholarship for Artistic and Innovative Excellence. She will be given a scholarship of Rs. 500/- per month by NCERT.
- Harshit Bansal of class VI A has won Boys under 12 “School Tennis Championship09 “ held at Noida Stadium from 25th July to 26th July.
Three students from Middle School - Kartikay Swarup, Giri Yash and Kushagra were selected for Uttar Pradesh football match.
- Kartikay Swarup, a student of class VII-F has been selected for the Indian National Football team in under 13 group. He proved to be the most disciplined and promising player at the Jamshedpur camp for two months. He went to Tehran in Iran to represent the country in a 7 day international tournament.
S. Aparna of class VII C has been selected for a scholarship under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2008 by the Centre for Cultural Resources & Training(under Ministry of Culture, Govt of India) for training in the field of Bharatnatyam Dance.
- Amardeep Singh of class VI B won District Gautam Budh Nagar Swimming Competition held at DPS Noida. He won the first prize in 100m free style, second prize in 50 m free style, first prize in 50 m backstroke, first in 50 m butterfly and second in breast stroke and first in 200m individual medley. He also won the overall trophy.
- Ayush Agarwal of class VIII was awarded a “Certificate of Brilliance” alongwith Cash Prize of Rs 5100. The prize is awarded for clearing the ALL India Talent Search Examination conducted by Childrens Education Trust.
- Falguni won two awards at Delhi Golf Club (Junior Tranning Programme) in Nonita Lall Kureshi Trainning Camp. She received prizes from Siddarth Shriram ,Chirman , Usha International ,on May 20, 2009.

- Laksh Tuli, a student of Class IV E won Silver Medal in the 2nd District Taekwondo Championship 2009 held on 2nd August at NOIDA Stadium.
- Kshitij Verma of Class IV D won second prize in Sub junior Category-N
National Karate Championship 2009.
- Our tiny tot of class II, Tanmay Rakheja has a number of accolades to his name - what started as a hobby developed into full fledged professional training and helped him to win prestigious tournament like the Albatross & US Golf Kids. Tanmay is now all set to represent India in the U.S after qualifying at the initial round in Ambala. Bon Voyage, young golfer.
- Dakshayan Varshney (IVB) bagged 12th Position in Delhi State Chess Championship – 2008 organized by Pinnacle Chess Academy at B-85, Defence Colony, Delhi.
- Avijit Goel (II B) won a Gold Medal in Super Champion – 2008 (Taekwondo Competition) organized by Taekwondo Promotion Council, New Delhi
- OUR YOUNG SKATING CHAMPIONS - Prashant Upreti (IV D) stood first and Akshat Bhutani VI(B) stood third in Rink race, in Rink Race and have been selected to represent Uttar Pradesh at Roller Skating Federation of India(RSFI) nationals. The selections took place on Sunday (21st December 2008) at DLF.
- Abhinav Bhandari, Class – IV A, has been selected for on-spot State level Painting Competition under National Campaign on Energy Conservation held on November 14,2008. He was awarded a cash prize of Rs 1000/-, a bag & a solar torch.
- 4th All India Karate Championship 2008 was organized at Bapu Samaj Sewa Kendra, Delhi from April 18, 2008 to April 20, 2008. The following students bagged the prizes in various events.

- Avijit Goel (II B) won a Gold Medal in Super Champion – 2008 (Taekwondo Competition) organized by Taekwondo Promotion Council, New Delhi.
- Prashant Upreti of Class IV D participated in the “Uttar Pradesh School Roller Skating Championship 2008” held in Lucknow. In this championship Prashant was placed in the 1st position and won two gold medals in two separate events- Road Race and Rink Race. Prashant would represent his school and Uttar Pradesh state in the open National School Championship 2008.

- National Graphics Championship – 2007 S. Vignesh of class 3-F secured All India Top Rank IN Sub-Junior Wing for his project titled “The Giraffe, Pelly And Me”. He has been awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5000/- by the International Informatics Olympiad.
Falguni (V B) stood first in Chipping Competition consecutively for the second year & second in Nine- Hole Competition.
Lenin (IIIA) got first position in Putting Competition. They were awarded trophies at a glittering ceremony on May 24, 2008 by the Chairman of Delhi Golf Club.
PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS
- Kabir Sinha of class Nursery F participated in a Cycle Rally at India Gate on Sunday, April 6, 2008. The event was organized by the Delhi Cycling Club to create awareness about the environmental and health benefits of cycling. Kabir was the youngest participant in the rally.
- Nirmalya Nath of K.G.- A secured a Gold Medal in ‘Kata’ event and Silver Medal in ‘Kumite’ event in the 2nd Distt. Seigo Kai Karate-Do Championship 2008, organized by Seigo Kai Karate-Do Association of India (U.P. Branch) at Community Center Sector- 35, Noida.
- Pranet Checker of class Nursery-B won a Gold Medal in Sub Junior Weight Division Inter-Club Taekwondo Championship, organized by Noida Taekwondo Association.
Saanvi Bhayana of Class Nursery B won a Silver Medal in Inter School Taekwondo Championship 2008 (in Below 20 kg weight category) organized by Taekwondo Promation Council Delhi, held at Yamuna Sports Complex. She also won a Bronze Medal in Inter District Taekwondo Championship-2008 (in the below 21 Kg. category) organised by Youth Taekwondo Association held at Noida Sports Complex Sector 21.
- Romil Jain of Nursery- G won a Bronze Medal in Inter District Taekwondo Championship 2008, organized by Youth Taekwondo Association at Noida Sports Complex.
- Khushi Jain of class KG –C won a National Award in “All India Camel Contest 2008”. She stood first in group A and the topic was “My favorite toy and me”. The total number of entries exceeded 24 lakhs all over India and only 102 entries were selected for National Award. From Uttar Pradesh region, 91 schools participated in the contest. This competition was organised by Camlin and Tinkle.
