State honour for Apeejay School, Noida for winning an Educational
tour to Germany
Abhishek Bhrushundi of class XII, session 2005-2006 is the
proud recipient of scholarship for proficiency in German. He has been
selected for a four-week Educational Tour to Germany as one of the
toppers in PAD- 2006. Only students with 90% + in board exams are
eligible for the scholarship. An essay writing contest was held on
22 February 2006 to shortlist the candidates. The short-listed candidates
were interviewed by the Director of Max Mueller Bhavan, Mr. Eberhard
Weller on 10 March 2006. Only four students were selected for this
prestigious scholarship from all over India.

Power declares Apeejay School, Noida as "Edu Power"
The Rotary wing Society of India, affiliated to the International
Helicopter Society, USA organised a National Level Essay Writing Competition
in the month of November 2005 that saw participation of a number of
prestigious schools from Delhi- NCR. The topics were 'Helicopters
Save Lives' and 'Usage of helicopters for Public Good'. A team of
top helicopter and aviation professionals evaluated the essays and
two students of Apeejay School, Noida namely, Vertika Bhargava and
gamini Wadhawan were adjudged first abd third respectively. The school
was honoured with a miniature of 'Dhruv Helicopter' manufactured by
Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. for bagging the Overall First Prize.
National Cultural Talent Search Scholarship-2005
Anushree Chatterjee of Class VIII is the proud recipient of the National
Cultural Talent Search Scholarship awarded by the Centre for Cultural
Resources and Training (CCRT) under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture,
Govt. of India. Anrin Chakraborti of class VIII is the recipient of
the prestigious scholarship by CCRT among thousands of entries sent
by students across the country for the proficiency in Culture Talent
Search Programme for outstanding talent in Sitar.
Apeejay School, Noida students are Global Achievers
The agency for science, technology and Research (Singapore) launched
the A * Star India Youth Scholarship in 2004. It offers scholarships
to outstanding students for studies in Singapore, leading to the Singapore-
Cambridge General Certificates of education (Advanced Level). It will
provide a maintenance allowance of $ 2200 (secondary) / $ 2400 (pre-
university) per annum with hostel accomodation, settling-in allowance,
subsidised medical benefits, school and examination fees, return economy
class air passage at the begining and end of the scholarship term.
Shashank Gupta of class IX- D of our school is the proud recipient
of this scholarship for the year 2006, being offered by the Ministry
of Education, Singapore.

OLYMPIAD -2004 |
Harpreet Singh and Kshitij Bansal of our school have made history by securing the Silver Medal and Bronze Medal respectively for the COUNTRY at International Informatics Olympiad 2004 held at Athens, Greece, from September 10 - 18, 2004. This is the first time that any Indian team for any Olympiad secured a Silver Medal. Both were members of the team representing our country at this International forum. This is the third year in succession that students of Apeejay School NOIDA have been selected to represent the Nation at the above said competition. It is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that these students have done exceedingly well where they were competing with the best talent from all over the world.. |

RIJUL BHARDWAJ EXCELS AT
3RD NATIONAL CYBER OLYMPIAD
Rijul Bhardwaj of class X made Apeejay School, NOIDA, proud by receiving a gold medal for achieving the first rank for class IX in the 3rd Cyber Olympiad at the national level. He also received a computer laptop as part of the award and a certificate of appreciation.

WINNING LAURELS AT USACO
U. S. A. COMPUTING OLYMPIAD -2004
USACO 2004 –was held in March 2004. Many competitors from different countries participated in this international online contest. This contest has three different levels on the basis of complexities in the problems posed - Green Division, Orange Division and Blue Division. SHISHIL GUPTA of Class IX from our school is the youngest student ever to qualify with the total score of 683 in Blue Division. He topped in India and secured 4th rank at the International Level .
ROTARY CLUB OF DELHI MIDTOWN HONOURS APEEJAY SCHOOL, NOIDA FOR ‘BEST INTERACT CLUB’ AND BEST INTERACT PROJECT
On June 4, 2004 the Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown presented the shield for the ‘ Best Interact Project’ to to the Interact Club of Apeejay School, Noida for its exemplary work in the field of community service in an impressive function held at Maurya Hotel, Delhi. The running shield was accepted by the Principal and teacher incharge, Dr. N Upadhyay and student representatives of the school Interact club. Winning Laurels in Debating
The Interact club of Apeejay School, Noida organized an Inter-School English Debate on Saturday May 1, 2004 in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Delhi Midtown. 63 students from 21 very prestigious schools from Delhi and NCR region fervently spoke for and against the motion “You Can Educate a Child Only When the Adults are Literate”.
Samiksha Bali of Apeejay School, Noida was declared the best speaker, Bhavya Sharma was declared the Second Runner Up.

SAMIKSHA BALI EXCELS AT
WIZ-KIDS-2004
Samiksha Bali, a class XII student, participated in the National Level Talent Quest ‘Horlicks Wizkids 2004’, organized by Activity in collaboration with Horlicks at the National Finals held at Bangalore on 4th November, 2004, after qualifying in the State level round held at Apeejay School, NOIDA, where she was chosen as member of the team of four representing Delhi-NCR. Sixty most versatile students selected from 15 cities of India competed to form the final Dream Team of six Samiksha emerged as the winner, ‘Dream Team’ from among more than one Lakh , ten thousand students who competed from all over India. She was awarded a Trophy, a Sash , a certificate and cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-. |

Our students Shine at The INMUN Conference
4th Annual Session of Indian Model United Nations organized by Ryan International Schools was conducted on 2nd , 3rd and 4th September, 2004 at PHD Chambers of Commerce, union of the (NCUI), New Delhi. 43 schools from national capital region, 60 schools from other parts of the country and 7 international schools were a part of this conference this year. Students of our school represented Pakistan. After going through a tough selection process, students of the world press were selected. Sonali Gupta of class XI-A was chosen as the world press cartoonist and Archit Singh of class X-D was chosen as the world press photographer.
Samiksha Bali and Tarun Mathur of our school were declared the bestdelegates.

- Mr. S. C. Tiwari was selected for an award for the Best School NSO In-charge in the entire Uttar Pradesh region for the 7 th National Science Olympiad (7 th NSO). The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 5,100/- and a Certificate of Honour.
