Orientation Programme For Parents (2009-10)

eventsApeejay School, Noida, held Orientation Programme for the parents of newly admitted Students of class Nursery on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Mr. V.S. Garg- Advisor to Apeejay Education Society, Dr. (Mrs.) Namita Ranganathan-Professor Central Institute of Education and Mr. Manoj Raghuvanshi- eminent Media Personality were the Guest Speakers. Vice-Principal Mrs. Supriya Srivastava extended a formal welcome. Mr. V.S. Garg, gave an insight of Apeejay Education Society and reiterated the vision of Dr. Stya Paul, founder chairman of the Society imparting quality education and giving society socially responsible citizens. Principal, Mr. N.N. Nayyar enriched the parents on 'Spirituality in Education'. Dr. Ranganathan, provided vital guidelines on 'Understanding the child's world'. Renowned media personality, Mr. Manoj Raghuvanshi, enlightened the parents on the “Impact of Media (Print and electronic) on our children”. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mrs. Shailla Shahi.

Orientation Programme For The Students (2009-10)
This programme was organized on Monday, March 23, 2009 and Tuesday, March 24, 2009 for the students of Class Nursery. The main objective was to make students aware of their new School, new teachers and classmates and to familiarize them with the immediate surroundings, so that before coming to regular school the students are comfortable and are well adjusted to their new environment.

Investiture Ceremony (2009-10)
eventsStudents of the Prefectorial Board (Primary Department) took oath of office on 23rd July in a spectacular Investiture Ceremony. The Principal administered the oath of office and pinned the badges on the members. The Primary School Incharge adorned the Head Boy, Head Girl and the members of the Prefectorial Board with sashes. Vice Principals  also graced the occasion. The students took oath to uphold the duty and dignity of their posts and work diligently without fear or favour.

The middle and senior school had investiture ceremony on July 20th for appointing the new prefectorial board for 2009-10 session. The investiture ceremony began with ceremonial lighting of lamp. The smartly turned out office bearer and the prefects received the badges and sachets from the Principal.

Chaitanya Kansal and Apoorva Sharma of class XII took the oath as the Head Boy and Head Girl for current academic session. Head boy and Head Girl from the Middle school are Prastut Kumar and Ketaki Gupta from class VIII.

Principal blessed the prefectorial board by reminding them of their duties and responsibilities. He spoke about the different layers of duties and how put together the best performance is achieved.

Interact Club Installation Ceremony (2009-10)
eventsThe Installation Ceremony of the new Interact team was held in the school premises on 23rd July 2009. Mr. G.S.Singhvi, the President of the Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown was the Chief Guest of the function. The program started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the guests. The students presented the song “Hum Hindustani” on school orchestra. There was also classical dance performance and the school choir sang “Ashayein”.

The Principal welcomed the guests and introduced the new Interact team. Dr. Anupam Bhargava motivated the students with various anecdotes from his life. Mrs. G.S.Singhvi enthralled the audience with a melodious song. Mr. G.S.Singhvi gave away the collar and the badges to the new team. He also introduced the theme of the club “Jal Hai Toh Kal Hai” and “Save Water, Save Life”. He motivated the students to develop compassion and spirit of selfless service. The programme was well coordinated by the School Interact in-charges; Mrs. Manjari Rattan and Mrs. Suniti Gupta.events

Teachers' Day (2009-10)
Teachers Day was celebrated on 5th September 2009 in the School Auditorium. The students presented a song, dance, talk and a chat show was organized. Later in the day some teachers also presented a few items. Sir blessed all the teachers. A lunch was organized for all the staff members.

Scholar Badge Ceremony (2009-10)
eventsScholar Badge ceremony was held to honour students who excelled in academics, for classes X and XII it was on 28th and 29th August and for Class XI it was held on 2nd Sep. 2009





Class Representative Elections Of The Middle And Senior School (2009-10)
The Class Representative elections were held in the respective classes on 15th of July. The elected Class Representatives were given their badges on July 27th 2009.

Events 2008

Founder's Day (2008-2009)
eventsFounder's Day was celebrated on 4th October 2008 to celebrate the birthday of Respected Chairman Sir, Dr. Stya Paul. The day was marked with a talk on the life of Dr. Stya Paul by Principal Sir. An English play 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' was staged by the students. Dr. Stya Paul awards were awarded to Smriti Mishra (XII A), Prerna Anand (X A), Anagha Gopal (VII D). They received a cheque of Rs.4000/- each. Chaitanya Kansal (Maths), Mridul Sharma and Samyak Datta (Sanskrit), Shriyaa Mittal(Introductory Information Technology) were also awarded a certificate and a cheque of Rs.1000 for securing 100% marks in a subject in CBSE, Class X (2007-08). Students securing 92% and above in class X(2007-08) were also awarded a cheque of Rs. 4000/- as scholarship and a certificate of merit.

Annual Appreciation Day For Classes Nursery & Kindergarten (2008-09)
eventsIt was held in the School Auditorium on Tuesday, March 13, 2009 and Saturday, March 14, 2009. The ceremonial Lamp 'Deepanjali' was lit by the Principal Mr. N.N. Nayyar, Vice- Principal Mrs. Supriya Srivastava and Mr. S.C. Tiwari followed by Invocation- 'Ibadat' performed by the students of Kindergarten. The formal welcome was extended by Mrs. Shailla Shahi. Mementoes, Certificates and the Achievement Cards were distributed to students. The highlight of the show was the story 'Idgah' written by Munshi Prem Chand, which was dramatized beautifully by the students of Kindergarten. A story dramatization was performed by the students of class Nursery on the very famous and favorite of all fairy tales, 'Cinderella'. The programme concluded with the blessings and Grand Finale on the tune of 'Jo Phoolon Se Khil Jate Hain' and 'It's A World Of Laughter A World Of Tears'. Harshit Chugh of class K.G. B and Randeep Singh of Nursery C proposed the vote of thanks.

Lauding The Efforts Of Our Young Achievers Appreciation Day (2008-09)
eventsThe Annual Appreciation Day of the Primary Department of Apeejay School, Noida was held on 30th August 2008 in the School Auditorium with the blessings of Mr. A.K Tripathi (SP City, NOIDA) as Chief Guest and Ms Neha Berlia (Member, Apeejay Education Society) as the Guest of Honor.
