The extraordinary talent in the students is recognized and appreciated in the academic and non-academic areas. These shining stars are awarded numerous scholarships each year. This motivates them further, to aspire for more awards, and to realize their caliber to the utmost.

DR. STYA PAUL AWARDS - 2008
“It is important that an aim must never be defined in terms of activity or methods. It must always relate directly to how life can be made better for every one. The aim is a value judgment. A person of values would be one who has qualities such as fairness, compassion, courage, integrity, empathy, loyalty and courtesy”.

PRESIDENT’S GOLD MEDAL- 2008
This award is given to a student who evinces outstanding academic performance as well as excels in co-curricular activities. The recipient of this award for the session 2007-2008 was Vikram Dhingra of Science Stream, who secured 93.6%.

PRESIDENT’S SILVER MEDAL- 2008
This award is given to a student of class XII, who maintains a consistently good academic performance and is also good at co-curricular activities. This was awarded to Indranil Sen of Science Stream who secured 92.6%.

MASTER JAGANNATH AWARD- 2008
Master Jagannath served the Society for a number of years as Financial Advisor. This prestigious award goes to a student who excels academically in the Commerce Stream. For the session 2007-2008, the recipient of Master Jagannath Award was Shweta Mani of Class XII (Commerce Stream), who secured an aggregate of 95%.

BEST INTERACTORS’ AWARD - 2008
Neharika Suneja (XI C) and Arushi Kholia (XI D) received this award for their sterling contribution as members of the Interact Club, which undertook a number of social outreach programmes to reach out to the less privileged sections of the society throughout the year.

NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION
SCHOLARSHIP (NTSE) -2008-2009
National Talent Search Examination is a very prestigious national level competition conducted by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, annually. This entitles a student to a scholarship which is given annually till the student pursues his education (even upto the Doctorate level). Moreover, the student is allowed free access to any reputed science research laboratories in our country.
