School Activities


Inter House competitions form an integral part of the school curriculum so whether it is skill or elocution quiz or best out-of waste, games or yoga, all competitions are held with verve and gusto and are aimed at highlighting the importance of sportsmanship for bringing out, the best of compelling spirit of young players.

Apeejay School, NOIDA, provides various opportunities for training of students for leadership. The school provides this training through two official bodies- PREFECTORIAL BOARD and THE SCHOOL COUNCIL. The school is further divided into four house systems – GANDHI HOUSE, NEHRU HOUSE, RADHAKRISHNAN HOUSE AND TAGORE HOUSE. These houses are looked after by a team of House Prefects and House Wardens.

The four houses not only symbolize high values, but at Apeejay our students are also trained to be messengers of these values, not only within the school boundaries but to take them far and beyond.

CBSE: Assessment of Speaking & Listening Skills (ASL)

Noida, February 28, 2013: A week-long evaluation of the ‘CBSE: Assessment of Speaking & Listening Skills (ASL)’ was held at the School for classes IX & XI, held from February 18-26, 2013.

It was a pilot project initiated by CBSE where targeted students were tested for their speaking skills. Mr. Ralph Collis, Sr. Examiner Consultant - Language from Trinity College, London also visited the school within the week. He appreciated the students for their speaking skills and apprised the teachers of some inhibitions which children face during speaking skills assessment and gave suggestions as well.

Painting Exhibition organised by HT

February 7, 2013: The Hindustan Times organised an exhibition of paintings selected from the competition held at School level in Delhi and NCR. This event was held at Dilli Haat and three paintings from the School were selected for the exhibition.

Sanjay Bhatacharya, a renowned artist, graced the occasion as the students participated in the painting activity guided by him.
